Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Tonight was the birthday dinner for my granddaughter. She is in town, Birthday girl wanted Cheddar’s as it is her favorite place back home.

She had planned on a getting her steak , mashed potatoes and coke. Her mashed potatoes were brought out after she was almost full from eating her steak.

The rest of the party drink orders were wrong , plates were wrong , services was terrible.

To make it even worse. When speaking with the manager even she could not take accountability for the service that we received.

Definitely did not deserve the 1 star for this review.

The food was horrible, the waitress did her best however we did receive a dirty plate for the bread. The best food was the complimentary bread lol.

I got less than cup of rice under the two rubbery reheated unseasoned White Fish. My son pasta was terrible with watery sauce that looks like cheesy water. All the food seem it was reheated in a microwave.

We received cold fries and list goes on.

The manager mentioned the rice is garnished due to the plate I ordered comes with two sides. Never heard that before. Overall it was a waste.

We decided to give this place a chance on. Sunday around 1:45pm. We were sat immediately as we were told it was a slower Sunday. Took the server about 8 mins to greet us officially even though she walked by several times. Eventually she took our drink order and I had her take our order because I had a feeling we wouldn’t see her for long.
We didn’t receive any croissants and asked our server and she said they were cooking. 30 minutes later we still had not had any. I asked our server for a drink refill and she didn’t come back. When passed by 7 mins later, she laughed off my request for a drink refill awkwardly and then eventually came back with a drink. After speaking with a manager, we eventually saw some croissants but only one order. After 45 minutes in your experience, we received our side salads that went with our meals (yikes…times are NOT good). It took almost an hour for our food to arrive. That’s highly unacceptable. The food quality was good but not worth the wait we endured and the price for the hassle of the experience. We should not have to beg for good service or ask for drink refills. Teach young people that the way they respond to a customer’s need is important as it shows respect and values their money/time. How they respond is everything. Things are gonna go wrong in any business…but how you respond will determine repeat business. Laughing off that we have drink needs, etc is NOT how to respond to a customer that’s paying for an experience.

This was the most nasty burger I ever tasted. Doesn't taste like hamburger. Nasty bacon, bread tore up on the bottom. 🤢🤮 It's not the servers it's the food.

This has been by far one of the absolute worst experiences I have had at this location! My waitress was Brooklyn and to say she was a mediocre server would be a compliment. We placed our drink orders after we waited almost 10 minutes for her to even come greet our table. Once the drinks arrived we placed an order for the crowd favorite “honey buttery croissants,” and as you can see by the pictures they were the bottom of the barrel after she told us she was waiting for them to come out of the oven but we could see the stuff sitting on the counter just waiting to be picked up! I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service we received this afternoon! We watched a table come after us and they received top tier level of customer service. I spoke to the manager and made her aware of how we were treated and she was really nice and took care of our concerns.

Our server was amazing just a great guy. Ordered steak and chicken combo, BBQ with the chicken steak cooked med. When the food was brought to the table I asked for the BBQ because it was missing, my steak was burnt just past even well done. While they recooked my steak I was going to eat my side and my chicken but I kept asking for the BBQ but it never made it to the table until the recooked steak finally arrived so by this time it was cold chicken. Idk I just gave up and put it all in a to go container and brought it home. Just disappointed and won't go back to this particular store again.

I just wanna start by saying I have never had a bad experience here and I gave the waiter several chances to do better cause I do understand they were busy. Set at our table at 8:16 immediately placed drinks order and appetizer. Got our drinks and placed order for food. At 9:16 we had to ask if we could get our appetizer and croissants. He said oh yeah and immediately brought it out. At 9:40 we had to ask for a refill. Our food did not get to our table until 9:50. Again we understand they were busy but ppl who set down way after us were getting their food. We finally get it and are missing several items and just decided to box it up and take it home to eat more comfortably after waiting so long. We asked for the ranch that’s supposed to come with my plate and just decided to forget about the sides missing cause at that point we were ready to leave. We paid and even left a tip but We will wait a lil before we come back. Definitely ruined date night.

PLEASE USE CAUTION GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!
MY DAUGHTER WENT HERE LAST NIGHT AND SPENT 23 DOLLARS WITH HER DEBIT CARD, AT 11PM, UNKNOWN TRANSACTIONS STARTED WITH REMARKS LIKE FOR FOOD AND IM HUNGRY. THEY EMPTIED MY DAUGHTERS ACCOUNT AND STARTED SENDING REQUESTS FROM FAMILY MEMBERS FOR 15$, 25$, AND 45$ WITH LEFT REMARKS STATING *FOR FOOD* . IM SO DISAPPOINTED A RESTAURANT WOULD ALLOW THIS FOR SUCH LOW AMOUNTS..FIND A BETTER JOB PLEASE IF YOU'RE BROKE! I WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE THE SHIRT OFF MY BACK TO ANYONE BUT TO TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO STEAL FROM A CHILD IS RIDICULOUS! UNIVERSE AND THE MOST HIGH PLEASE DO YOUR WORK ON THIS COMPANY AND THE PERSON WHO BLATANTLY STOLE FROM MY BABY! 23$ ISNT THE ISSUE, BUT TRUST, BUSINESS, AND DIGNITY ARE! EVERYONE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TO STEAL FROM A 14 YEAR OLD CHILD!! DISPICABLE..PLEASE DONT LET THEM HOLD YOUR CARD TO LONG AND THEY NEVER SHOULD TAKE YOUR CARD TO THE BACK!! Been here three times... The food is average at best

The cake was amazing! Chocolate with ice cream... huge piece. Share with a friend. But they were slammed, and the lass who served us made a face when she found out we were only having dessert. It was around 8:30, but we hardly saw her after that. Never got drink refills. But a really nice place, and I've been to other Cheddars and really enjoyed the food and staff.

Kid-friendliness: There were tons of kids. All good

Got there bout 50 min before they closed and waited bout 8 min before anyone came up to wait on us We was told that we might not good our food before they closed. That we needed to go somewhere else. Want be back to this hell hole

Great atmosphere and staff. Food was not that great. Family of 4; we had steak and rib combination plate with broccoli cheddar casserole and loaded baked potato, a rib plate with fries and buttered corn, another rib plate with buttered corn and sweet carrots, and a chicken tender playe with fries. The corn tasted like it came from the can, the steak was flavorless, overcooked and very chewy (I requested medium well), the ribs were nasty, and the baked potato and fries both tasted like dirt, the sweet carrots were standard small, and flavorless carrots as if they were pulled from a bag and tossed on the plate. We also ordered cheese bites which had a weird taste to them. This was our first and last time trying this restaurant!

Eaten at this restaurant several times. Food has been hit or miss. Today was a big miss. I got the fillet special and it was not good. First it’s low grade meat. I ordered it cooked medium and it came back well done. I sent it back and it came back the same. I pointed this out to my server and she didn’t offer to do it again or adjust the price. Not a good experience at all today
