We’re new to the Gastonia community, and after searching the reviews of all Chinese restaurants in the area this place was the nearest. I never asked the total amount over the phone, and after getting there I wish I had. The cost was ridiculous for what it was worth. However I did ask for soft broccoli and they did well with that. I had a couple of chicken wings with broken bones so I’m not sure what that was about…thinking positive though. Minutes later after eating, my stomach became so tight. I was in and out of the bathroom the rest of the night. Moving on I will not return

I love this restaurant, I have been coming here for over 17 years. I’m so sorry for the unfortunate circumstances that occurred as I was out of the country when this occurred. I got back Sunday 2/25. The first thing I wanted was my chinese food and I ask my daughter to see if they were open and that’s when we found out what happen. I’m totally disgusted and I hope they get the justice they deserved.

Beef & Broccoli was impeccable! Shrimp egg rolls were mostly the bread, they were half filled and I didn't eat the 2 that I ordered because they were basically empty. The shrimp fried rice was gummy and the shrimp tasted weird. I took one bite and closed the container. Wasn't happy with the meal overall.

I'm giving China City a 5 stars for their eggrolls. Best eggrolls in town. We will go here just to buy them. The other food is overall pretty tasty. You can eat in but it is mostly a take out kinda place.
