We were amazed at how good this experience was!!! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect.
This is one of the finest establishments I have been to in this area. The atmosphere is awesome. They actually have authentic Turkish outfits that customers can put on to take pictures. The food was delicious the staff, exceptional, friendly and helpful. I won't hesitate to make Constantine's a regular on my list of restaurants I frequent.
We always enjoy Constantine's and were glad they were open Thanksgiving Day. The food is delicious and a large variety of choices. It is moderately expensive so we don't go often, but great for a special occasion. The mushroom soup and other mushroom dishes are our favorites. Highly recommend.
This was our first time dining here and it was excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared and excellent. We will return.
Wonderful restaurant in Gastonia. The lavash is served when you are seated and the butter is a burning butter candle. Fascinating. We had the sultan's favorite and the mousakka. Both were so flavorful, and delicious. Tastes like the flavors were blending in a pot all day long. I actually liked this mousakka better than many that I have had in Greek restaurants. The entrees arrive covered by a copper dome and then lifted to reveal the beautifully plated food. Quite the ceremony usually seen in large cities. I highly recommend this place but do not expect to have the typical Italian/Mediterranean food.
Service and food are always over the top. We have never had a bad meal. We enjoy taking new people there, so always become fans!
As always, the evening starts with great service. Then as we progressed through the meal we kept finding ourselves with many oohs and aahs to the quality and presentation of each item. This is becoming one of our favorite restaurants in the greater Charlotte area. The staff is so attentive and welcoming you feel like part of the family. I would highly recommend Constantine's to anyone seeking Mediterranean and Turkish food.
We tried Constantine's based on recommendation from friends. Had the mezza platter, mixed kabobs and the chicken hot pot. The kebob meat was a bit overdone for our liking but great flavor/spices. So many items to choose from on the menu....we will be back to try something different. They also had a very nice Turkish white wine.
Great food, lovely staff, quite fun interiors (I figure this was once an Asian restaurant and now has become Constantine's). Overall wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening.
Wonderful and tasty food. Ordered the clay pot kabob for two...it came with a side of Turkish rice and french fries...which the fries were an odd combination and cold...but the kabob and rice were delicious. Maybe leave the fries off and come up with something authentic to complement the meal. Will definitely go back. $$$$

The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The cocktails were creative, perfectly balanced, and truly amazing. On top of that, the service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable dining experience!
This is our second time eating at Constantine's. We love it. We live an hour away and would eat here more if we lived closer. The food is fresh. It is flavorful. We have enjoyed everything we've ordered.
This is a MUST visit. Family owned, authentic, and amazing. We will definitely visit again. Constantine's is an absolute gem in Gastonia!
We'd made a reservation but we were running about 10 mins behind. I left a message with the restaurant, but I don't think it would have mattered if we showed up on time. They were really over booked. The family in front of us was a party of 6 who had a reservation for 7. They were early and were told they would have a 25-30 minute wait. So that wasn't the best first impression. We were finally seated about 10 mins after we arrived which is fair since we were 10 mins late. The server was very nice but seemed like he had no support. We gave our orders and put an order in for a yogurt appetizer, but we thought he forgot it. It ended up coming out with the meal. But he was friendly and did his best to serve all the tables in his section with a hospitable and welcoming spirit. I hope he got more support later. While the food is tasty, the value and cost is a little outrageous. We got the pottery kabab with chicken which is basically meat and vegetables for two with sides of a small bowl of rice and some fries. That was $64. Then we each got some sparkling water which was $4.00 for a normal sized 16 oz bottle...and then I ordered the yogurt based cold appetizer and that was $10.00. After tip that came to nearly $100. So while it was good to experience it, I don't think we'll be back. It's not affordable at all. Meat and vegetables shouldn't be sixty anything.
This place is a gem! Everything was fresh and delicious. We willdefinitely be back here.
