Constantine’s Restaurant

Ridiculously slow service for average food.

The restaurant was not at all full when we went and we waited at the front for 15 minutes before anyone even came to acknowledge us. There was a guy that kept coming to the front desk, but never said anything to us. The same guy came back later to finally acknowledge us.

Although our server was nice, the service again…was very slow. It took forever for him to come back to take our order. He kind of disappeared. Mind you, the restaurant at this point was serving just 5 parties and the rest was empty. Once our orders were taken, it took an additional half hour for food to come out! We had the flaming cheese thing, a lamb dish and a kebab dish. None of these items should have taken that long to prepare.

Food was fine. Nothing extraordinary, as I have had better of the same cuisine at mother places. It was not at all worth the time.

My friends and I were out shopping and got hungry. The cashier at the store recommended Constantine’s and we’re so glad we tried it! Delicious food, friendly and knowledgable staff, generous portions, and very clean dining room! Try this great, authentic local establishment!

Great fine dining restaurant! Lovely, authentic Turkish decor! Turkish food was absolutely the best! These three young men who started the restaurant are doing a marvelous job in all respects! Try it! It’ll immediately become your favorite to enjoy with friends or date night.

Excellent food, service and ambiance! We enjoyed our anniversary meal and talking with the knowledgeable and friendly waiters/owners. Can't wait for our return visit!

So much more than we expected. We came for dinner, had an experience instead. We were not familiar with Turkish food, but wow, everything was insanely good. What a great spot in Gastonia!

My friend and I had a birthday dinner in Constantine 's Restaurant in June. It was my surprise to her as we are both fans of the Turkish series. And yes, we got the real Turkish vibe out there. It was more than worth driving 2 hours to eat there. I was feeling like we were having dinner in Istanbul, Turkey: sooo delicious food with a unique presentation of dishes. National decorations in the restaurant is outstanding. The staff was super friendly! They even allowed us to make photos in Turkish costumes (I guess it was a birthday present for my friend).
To conclude, overall experience: it's literally the best restaurant in NC or even in the whole country. I would give more than 5 stars if you could. I can't wait to come back!

The staff is very smiley. I tried ali nazik kebab. Very yummy. They serve bread in the beginning. I thought it s candle but it turns out butter :) amazing
