It is a very good place to eat

The Golden corral has a new paint job along with that came better service. I seems like all the food stayed hot and fresh on the bar. I hadn’t been to Golden corral in a long time. They only serve breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can see myself going back. They must be under new management, I don’t like buffets too much. The only problem I have is if I get a seat too close to the restroom. Before you eat at a buffet, always go check it out and see if they have what you want to eat and then go back and pay. I do suggest this place they have a senior discount a military discount And if you sign up for the app is supposed to be five dollars off although I didn’t get my coupon until hours later. They had hamburgers on the grill, something that I’ve never seen before and they had the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions to go on it with mayonnaise and mustard also. I’m not big on desserts, but they have it if you want it so go corral at the golden corral lol

The food was very good also the bathroom was clean and smelled fresh the staff could have been a little more attentive but i always give a 20% tip off the rip i know all cant be on there A-game but we enjoyed our meal also the buffet area was very clean and that was very important to me.

Meat loaf was waaay over cooked I liked the shrimp it was very good it was too hot in there don't use the men's rest room if ur a teen bc a creep looked over the stall at me beware of that

The food was okay. It's the level of non-service and the disregard to us that got me. We sat at a table close to the grill area. Half way through our dinner the waitress asked if we're okay, that's it. No one seemed interested in serving up the steaks, they seemed to care less if you stood there waiting. No water refill, no removal of dirty dishes, vacuuming all around us and under our table while we were seated. Sweeping around the walls and slinging debris in our direction. Someone was cleaning the food service area with a sprayer and we were sprayed while seated. Just Wow! I use to like going here cause the food and service was good but apparently not anymore. This place has gone downhill. 2 👎👎

Management is terrible.

First time visit at GC's Gastonia location. Food was good with the exception of the Meatloaf. It was off. There were a nice selection of desserts. Also, the ice cream was much better than at the "GC" I usually eat at. My 9-year old Grandson even noticed it as well. Our server Ms. LOU was sweet and very attentive.
