el mejor restaurante en Gastonia . las muchachas dan un servicio 5 estrellas 🌟 Karlita, Nikki, Jimena, Brenda, (cosineros) y sus especialistas, platillos. las bebidas las preparan muy ricas ( micheladas,margaritas, balazos shots ) aguas frescas, la panadería.... muy muy rico y lo mejor de todo los precios todo al alcance del bolsillo. mil gracias por su atención y servicio

The buffet was good, but wish there would've been more to offer. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very kind and friendly. It was a little warm in the restaurant but she explained they were having AC issues. The price at lunch was 15.99 and included the drink, like I said, I feel there should've been more options for the pricing, but overall experience was good!

I was really excited about a Guatemalan restaurant opening up close to me, so I was very disappointed to find out that more items on the menu were Mexican rather than Guatemalan. There are definitely better Guatemalan food options in Charlotte that are much more affordable, delicious, and actually Guatemalan food. I thought this would be a regular spot but I don’t plan to come back. Some quick thoughts on how they can improve:
1. Quicker service (we were a party of 3 and there was another party of 5, but they took over 20 minutes to bring our food)
2. Fairer prices or to singularly price food items like the Guatemalan tostadas, etc. (rather than a whopping $13-$16 a plate
3. Create a beautiful Guatemalan mural rather than one that has depicting white people in Gastonia. Or just paint it one solid color.
4. More Guatemalan food items or change the name so it says “Latin American food” rather than Guatemalan

I think the only nice thing is the pretty yellow arch out front that recreate the original one from Antigua, Guatemala.

Salad bar had no dressings
There was no sauces for the taco meat
And our person who refilled our drink didn't refill anything
And at $17 bucks, asked if we wanted chips and dip we said no but still charged for them

I went on a trip from California to North Carolina, Antigua Guatemala left me impressed with their service, excellent taste, delicious food, very clean, all very friendly workers, I was impressed with Antigua Guatemala.

Stopped by for lunch, tried the buffet, and food was good, but could have had some more spices. The staff was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The buffet is only open for lunch. For dinner, it is by the menu. I will definitely be back to try items from the menu. They just received their liquor license, so you will soon be able to order drinks. Very pleasant atmosphere.
