Our waitress was very friendly. My boyfriend ordered the salad with a chicken addition. The portion was very skimpy, and when we asked the waitress, she said most people order it as an appetizer, but it’s listed under entree salads. I ordered a sushi meal. His food came out quickly, but mine took an additional at least 30 minutes to come out. We kept asking what was taking so long and were told the sushi chef was backed up. This was on a Saturday evening, and there was only one chef for the entire restaurant.

- Booth seating was uncomfortable and awkward, with a too small table cloth, too close together and no room under the table to move my legs - The drinks were horrible; for the first time in my life I was served an old fashioned that had bubbles in it and was extremely watered down - The appetizer came suspiciously quickly and wasn’t hot, our sushi roll was not good, and we decided not to stick around for the entree afterwards

I stopped by once and didn't know how to get back, I just knew the food would be good. It was beyond what I hoped for. never tasted a steak so next to perfect, it made me shake the hand if the Chef. Host,Waiters, Mrs. Cleaning Lady...Best place in Gastonia all round. Had to give my first review for it. Thank You .

My husband and I are celebrating our 14th anniversary today and he is working in Gastonia so I drove to celebrate with him. We found Lotus Bar & eatery and we were not disappointed. From the host to our server the experience was wonderful. The food was very well seasoned and prepared. Our server Kit was pleasant, helpful and seemed to care that we were having a special night. Big thank you to the staff of Lotus Bar & Eatery.
Steak frites was very tough and chewy. I ordered medium well but had several pieces that was medium rare. Salad was great as well as homemade mashed potatoes.

I gave this place 4 stars, the atmosphere is real mellow. I had the Ashley chicken. It came with fluffy and lovey mash potatoes & gravy. Alana was our waitress, she had a heart warming smile and OUTSTANDING personality the entire time since we were seated. I'll be back soon

Great selection on the menu. There's something for everyone.We ordered 3 different sushi rolls and the Bison filet mignon. We were impressed with the size of the sushi rolls. Definitely bigger than other places so you get your moneys worth. A little heavy on the sauce drizzle, but overall it was really good.The bison filet was great! Good flavor & tender. I would definitely get this again.
