That was literally some of the worst bbq I have ever eaten. No salt on anything, weird taste on chicken tenders, pulled pork and brisket. Sides had no salt either, worst collards ever, Mac and cheese dried out and corn tasteless. Only thing that was decent were the desserts. We won't be back! Plus very small portions for the price you pay!

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place runs like a well-oiled smoker. The ordering process was incredibly efficient, no long waits, just a smooth, well-organized system that gets you from the front door to your plate without a hitch. Within minutes of placing our order, our server was at the table to collect our order ticket. Every person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. They checked in just the right amount and made us feel completely at home. Now, the food… wow. Every bite was a reminder of why BBQ is comfort food at its finest. Tender, juicy and flavorful! I highly recommend! On an unrelated note, it’s also quite clear that the owner has great taste in music 🤩😉

We had my brother’s rehearsal dinner at Ray Nathan’s the other night. When we were originally shown the room, the placement for the food was along the way near the door. When we arrived they had placed the food in the corner making it difficult for my dad to remain in his seat at the end of the table. The waitress was VERY RUDE. We arrived at 6:56pm with a few decorations that had been discussed ahead of time and she would not let us in until 7. She also had an attitude with the bride which was uncalled for. We had a party of 35 people, all who will not return and are telling people in the community not to eat here. Very disappointed with the customer service and the attitude of the waitress.
Horrible service, rude employees, not providing enough food for small party, and the list could keep going.

Atmosphere, Food, Service. Most places have you pick one or two, RayNathan’s gives all 3. We are in town for my son’s graduation and we were looking for a simple dinner. Quick google search lead us here, and I am so happy we found it. Friendly staff, great menu, then I saw the Primus posters! Our server was the best and informative and forced us to eat banana pudding and peach cobbler! I’m not a grits guy, but thought I’d give them a go, and wow the slow cooked jalapeño and cheese grits made me understand them. The BBQ was some of the best we’ve had. We visit Charlotte a couple of times a year; RayNathans is now a mandatory stop.

We had a big event recently. We kept communicating that we needed to feed 165 people. That wasn't the case with the food servings. We ran out of three sides within 20 minutes. Reached out to the catering managers and owners, and they were supposed to contact us about it and we never heard anything. Communication could be a lot better. We just won't use their catering services anymore. Unfortunate because the food is great.

The ribs were overcooked and tough. The green beans were underseasoned, which is not normal for this restaurant. I was there around 3 o’clock in the afternoon so I know the food should not have been dried out.
