The ribs were overcooked and tough. The green beans were underseasoned, which is not normal for this restaurant. I was there around 3 o’clock in the afternoon so I know the food should not have been dried out.
I actually had a very good experience at Ray Nathans. The service was top tier. The young lady was patient and walked us through the menu. I ordered ribs, sausage, brisket and pulled pork. My sides were Mac n cheese and collards. The food and presentation were all top tier. The manager even gave me a slice of the apple cake. While this was not the best BBQ I had there were some standouts. Particularly the sausage was amazing. And the apple cake was among the best desserts I've...
Food is always very good & staff very friendly. Gets busy/crowded, making it very loud & hard to hear people at your table.
Called ahead for take-out at last visit: told 10 min, got there more than that, waited another 15. To be fair, it was 530p Sat - but team could have been better with expected ready time.
