Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill

went in with my husband and son, and Chloe was the sweetest employee i’ve ever met in any service industry. she was so kind to my son who accidentally spilled his drink. she said “it’s okay buddy, don’t be sad. we are human and mistakes are okay!” she treated us with such kindness and grace our entire visit. the food was also very good!

Great employees, food is really good. They also have catering for all events! They package their food with care , that way, you will not have to deal with the spills.

The girl working the line named Chloe went above and beyond for me! Very kind and generous, always double checked with me for how much i wanted of certain ingredients.My food was made as quickly as I could ask for it and I definitely got my moneys worth in terms of portions and size of my burrito. Sometimes the rice is a little dried out if I come at an off-time but everything was fresh and good today.

I’m not a huge Mexican food fan, however, the service at this restaurant was phenomenal. I truly felt like the employees wanted to be there. They were friendly, smiling, but just seem to be enjoying life. This seems to be a lost art in today’s food service industry.

I’m a big Salsarita fan, but this particular Salsarita’s does not have good quality food. I just went through the drive-through and order a taco salad and it was Probably the worst taco salad I’ve ever had. On the menu it says it comes with Romain, but it was actually shredded iceberg lettuce. There was a very small amount of chicken That was overcooked and also had chunks of Something that was very hard and black. Kind of like the scraping off of your grill at home. I also got a side of chips and queso, and the queso tasted like it had melted plastic in it. Unfortunately, I was unable to take it back

We loved Salsaritas but the last few times we have went the service nor quality has been great. The portion sizes for the meat seems to have been cut back quite a bit. If we are going to spend over $30 bucks for 6 tacos, we may as well go to a nicer restaurant because it's just not hitting the way it use to.

Waited at the drive through for five
Minutes in silence waiting to be helped. Once I realized no one was coming I drove up to the window. There were employees serving customers inside in but no one working drive through and no one even acknowledged me. Waited another 5 minutes at window and then gave up and left.

I absolutely love salsaRita's and I am a regular here at this location but this visit I was very disappointed. The manager that made my food did not once wash her hands. From the time I met her at the entrance of the door where she was cleaning windows. Then In the kitchen where she prepared my food. I almost wanted to walk out I was so disgusted. I was really shocked.My shrimp that was cooked on the spot. Tasted as if it was not held at the appropriate temperature. As if it was spoiled or undercooked.I was not really able to enjoy my meal. I only at one chicken taco I really wanted to call Reggie the general manager because he is really sweet but it is loss I'll take and a reminder to take a break from here for a while. I won't be spending my hard earned money here for unsanitary food practices.

The person on duty today wasn't hygienic at all. She dropped my food picked it up and gave it to me. The food didn't look clean either. I just dumped all of it

Let me start out with I never write bad reviews unless they are deserved. I tried to give them a chance 3 times now over several months nothing has changed. Ate at salsaritas for years. Got excited to have one closer to me. This one has disappointed. Always closed early, out of items every time. The couple times I was able to get it was cold and employees have the energy that they don’t want to be there reviews in the past seem to show the same experience as me. Owner says they will address the team and fix problems obviously that is not happening and it’s sad. I used to think this was my favorite restaurant but I will never step foot in the Gastonia location again and I recommend everyone else stay away.

Went about a week ago, immediately walking in there were umbrellas right across the door walkway! Came with my older mom she almost tripped.Then the girl was super unprofessional and laughing the whole time while speaking ill and cussing at somebody to her coworker. I guess another girl that had come through before me.. someone called to her and called her jazz? She mentioned being a team lead it’s disappointing to see this is the leadership for a place I really love the food from!I wasn’t given many portions either got a kids meal for my son, got I kid you not, SIX chips and barely anything on it.Very disappointed hope they hire more mature staff especially leaders.

I came in with my mom to order food. We’d just downloaded the app and had a reward for a free entree. Me and my mom both presented the reward to the Supervisor and two workers. They said say we had to scan a code but you couldn’t scan a code, it was only a picture. So the supervisor took one of the entree off. We got our food. Ate the food, it was pretty good. Not even 30 minutes later, it made my mom sick to her stomach. I just don’t think we’ll ever go back there!
