I love steak n shake, but this time, it was not good. The burger and toppings felt wet and didn't taste good at all. The fries were cold. The milkshake was good. I won't be going back for a while, if at all. Culvers is basically the same type of place with a better selection of food. I don't know what changed, but it was not a pleasant experience and I got sick from it.

Managers to busy flirting with each other, instead of helping and making food orders. Act like they can't be heard in their empty lobby but all you hear is gossip and not much working.

They no longer have the mushroom Swiss burger (main reason why I went there) and have really limited their menu. It's impossible to ever get their hot sauce anymore, and the customer service has really gone down.

Among all of the great food, their cold slaw is delicious! Great hot dogs! I frequent this location to enjoy the Seasonal milk shakes. My favorite is the Eggnog Shake.
