Great ice cream! Food is decent
Tony's has the BEST ice cream and lots of flavors. My favorite is chocolate ripple. I love their milkshakes! After it is mixed they put a huge scoop of Ice cream on top. Prices are reasonable.

Due to many recommendations I went to Tony’s for lunch last Saturday.
For this visit I stuck to food (ice cream next visit) :
- people had told me that the hot dog is the thing to get. There actually is quite a big menu but I stuck with the hot dog. Added onion rings for side - the girl at the counter gave a wink and “good choice” for that …
- overall it was far better than expected. Yes - hot dog was good. Some for the sweet and crispy onion rings. It was a good choice !
- loved the old school vibe. Looks like it’s rhe same since the 60s. And of course some local characters enjoying lunch as well

Was, is, and will be forever a staple of Gastonia. Grew up eating it and will continue to bring my children and grandchildren here for decades to come.

Great food and lots of ice cream varieties to choose from! We always try and stop at Tony's when we travel through the area.
I have been to several places that server their ice cream but I actually went the first time last weekend and couldn’t be happier. We only wanted milkshakes so I am not sure about the food. The milkshakes are amazing and we ended up taking a half gallon home. Tony’s chocolate ice cream is easily the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had.
I love this place it's just gotten too popular for it's own good lol. The parking lot and inside is miserably too small. When you finally find a spot to park, if you want to eat inside at a table you're crammed against the massive line of people getting a milkshake.
The food and ice cream is so good that I would come much more often if it wasn't such a bad experience to get it.

They will not apply ketchup to any order and the meat is overcooked .....if you want ice cream , this is the place...of you want grill.food , please go elsewhere
