Im not sure how this place remains open and how corporate allows such poor management amd service?!? We literally waited in line over 30 mins. We heard a big commotion whole in line in the drive thru. Employees locked the dining room. They were fighting inside and throwing stuff around. We finally get to the window to be told to come back later for the order or call the app phone number to request a refund. And I bet no one gets fired! The lady at the drive thru looked like she wanted to cry. She said there is nothing she can do that the kitchen was a mess due to a fight breaking out. This is ridiculous and corporate needs to get involved. I would not let the franchise owner continue knowing they are causing bad reputation. I cant make this ish up.

Terrible experience. While at the window waiting for food the tall bald guy was thrashing around yelling about our large order ( 3 combos with no substitutions) he basically threw the food out the window. And yelled at me when I asked for sauce. And to top it off we was missing one of the burgers when we got home. To scared to go back since he already put half nis body threw the window to yell over sauce. This is ridiculous. Never agin.

I live 15 minutes away from the closest Wendy’s, but we decided we wanted it for the first time in months. I had ordered 2 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers (Plain). When I opened them at home there was no meat. There were only the buns, lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, and mayo. Basically the opposite of a plain JBC.
We decide to go all the way back there so we could get the correct food. The guy who made it said he was busy and would get to it in a moment. The lady we saw at the counter decided to just fix it herself since he would not do it. The whole time she is fixing it he is looking at us smirking like something is funny.
We ended up having it fixed but wasted an extra 30 mins just getting there and back home again.

I visited the Wendy’s on Union Rd in Gastonia today. I just left the Dr.’s office. I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to eat but a good burger. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Carolina Classic meal. She said they don’t have that anymore. So I picked a Dave’s single. She was not polite and just said pull to 2nd window: I said thank you and she said nothing. Then I pulled around and she handed me my drink with no straw. It took a min for my food. Then she opened the window to hand me my bag. She said nothing. I said “Do you have any kind of zesty sauce?” She shook her head no. I said ok, Thank you and she shut the window. I wasn’t feeling well and I was the one trying to be polite not the person getting paid to serve. I will NEVER go back there again. Service like that is why the parking lot is always empty. Ps, the fries were cold and refried. Nice .

Even if you do an online order, you'll wait 40 minutes for the most basic food. Customer service is non-existent. People were exiting the drive-thru without their food even though the parking lot is empty. There's no excuse for this.

What is going on with our Wendy s. We frequent this location more than others. Every time we’ve gone there this last year or so we haven’t been able to get a chocolate frosty. Always out, the specialty holidays flavors , always out. I typically like their food better than other burger eateries but overall they’re slipping. I worked in the restaurant industry for years. People you have to care about the quality of food and customer service you put out
Don't go to Union Rd location. Worst experience I've ever had in all my 53 years of life. We Doordashed 2 combo meals. A chicken sandwich and double baconator. We received the chicken sandwich combo that was cold. I called and had someone go pick up the double baconator combo, as they said they would make it if we could come get it. Anyway, it comes back with another chicken sandwich combo that is also cold. Thanks Wendy's. I'm never coming back! This is not my first disappointment with them but it definitely is my last. Maybe try a different location people, put them out of business!

Currently sitting in line I ordered through the app at 6:30 it is now 6:50 me and 4 other cars were asked to pull up and out of the line so their times weren’t ruined and 20 minutes later nobody has gotten any food. Do not waste your time with this location the morning staff has been awful for months. Nobody is ever there on time and they usually ignore people in line at opening. UPDATE: they had no biscuits ready at open???? They just came out 30 minutes after opening it is now 7 am and all 4 of us haven’t been served. Nobody mentioned they didn’t have food ready.

Chileeeeeee I ordered a 10 piece nugget through drive through.. I asked for fresh (ready to made ordered) nuggets.. the cashier said they can do it Why I get home and these nuggets is as dry as my a hookers wig…IT SEEMS THO THEY JUST DROPPED THE NUGGETS BACK IN THE OIL FOR A LONGER COOK TIME TO GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT ITS FRESH BUT ITS NOT ! I will NOT BE returning here again!!!! the fries are dry and tasteless as well

We ordered food using the drive thru. The girl at the window was a lil rude but our fries were horrible cold and hard. I don't think we will be going back to this Wendy's no time soon. The food all together was not as good as it use to be.
