This is such a special place, and we highly recommend it to everyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience, which is relaxing and truly the best in our area. The chef prepares every detail with such care.
Beautiful mix of flavors and unique menu items. The Chef/Owner came over to our table and greeted us. Staff was attentive and polite. Lovely setting for a luncheon. The grounds are well maintained, and they have a pavilion to allow for weddings and large events.
Excellent restaurant and service. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Food is nicely prepared and tasty. Portions were good. Wish there was a more extensive cocktail menu.
Outstanding French food in a beautiful historic home. The menu is great! The food is expensive but worth the price!
Our experience at Saint Jacques was once again amazing. The food was delicious, the ambiance uniquely wonderful, and Kaio's service, as always, incomparable. Saint Jacques is a special occasion place for us, but we look forward to finding more excuses for special occasions!
Saint Jacques was a lovely venue for a small birthday dinner. Christian, our waiter, was superb. The food was delicious, and the location was perfect. We will definitely return for other special occasions in the future.
Our party of 3 was early so we were seated in a parlor adjacent to the dining rooms. We were offered drinks prior to being seated. The service, food and ambience was great. A special restaurant for a special evening for sure....
Outstanding ambiente, staff is amazing, the food from out of this world. Definitely not the last time.
My husband and I had the best stay this weekend with plenty of room and a wonderful breakfast the next morning! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
I had my wedding at the Burke Manor last weekend and stayed in the Paris Suite. I only have amazing things to say about my experience. The food was some of the best I've had in the area, the staff was unmatched and Lori and Lil went above any beyond to make our weekend special and our stay calming and relaxing. The grounds were beautifully kept and the service was truly unmatched. We threw a few curveballs in with our stay and our event and the staff there rolled with the punches and made it everything we dreamed of and more!

We visited St. Jacques for the first time to celebrate our 26th anniversary. I'd heard about it and although it's not on our beaten path, thought it would be nice to try for a special occasion. The servers were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent. We both had the tomato pie pastry which was very good. I had the special entree of the night, a braised lamb shank, and it was so tender and delicious. The accompanying beef ravioli and asparagus was as well. My husband had a butternut squash entree. It was also very good but probably not enough food for him. I think he may have wanted a steak of some sort. He didn't complain though. We appreciated the little extras of a small bite quiche and a palate cleanser at appropriate times. The location inside the Manor is very beautiful. My husband's only complaint surprisingly was the very quiet space. He felt like he had to almost whisper because it was so quiet. There was nice jazz playing and personally, I didn't find it uncomfortable. And we were given an anniversary wish on my dessert plate with a candle on a special plate. We had a lovely evening. Thank you!
I arranged an overnight with dinner as a surprise for my wife’s birthday included were her parents. Lori and Lil, owners and chef, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Lil got a golf cart to help my in laws to their room. They helped with our baggage and made sure we had everything needed for our overnight stay.
The food is some of the best ever experienced. For entrees we had lamb chops, sea bass and petite fillets prepared similar to beef Wellington. As appetizers, we had escargot and friend onion soup. All were wonderfully prepared and were delicious. As part of our overnight stay, a full breakfast was provided. Fresh coffee, juice, ham and cheese omelet with fresh fruit, bacon, creamy cheese and garlic grits with toast.
If ever in the Gibsonville area, outside Greensboro, and want a comfortable and romantic getaway accompanied by some of the finest food you’ll ever eat, you have to give this place a shot. I certainly give it five stars.
Lori and Lil, I can’t say it enough so thank you again for the memories we will keep for a lifetime.
I have edited this review so that I acknowledge the entire team supporting the Burke Manor Inn. We had two servers who were knowledgeable, professional and did a great service for us. Oh by the way, there restaurant rating was 100.

What a perfect night. It was the most relaxing restaurant I have ever been to. I chose the squash ravioli which was amazing. My companions chose the filet with pastry covering. It wasn't as good. It was a little on the flavorless side and a bit tough. The onion soup was the best I had ever had. The dessert which I believe was the chocolate bomb had a very chocolate taste and was very rich so a little of it went a long way. The waiter was also a joy. Would highly recommend Saint Jacques for a one of a kind experience.
We had lunch and the food was delicious. I had Croque Madame with a small side salad and the most wonderful cup of Onion Gratinee soup. There was no room for dessert. If I could stuff the dessert in, I would have had the bread pudding. Our wait person was so personable and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. St. Jacques is on the top favorites of my restaurant list.
I am the great granddaughter of PT & JW Burke. Lil and Lori outdo themselves with every experience. The Burkes would have been so proud of what has become of their family home. Thank you for another exceptional dining experience ?
