Reno's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

We decided to try Reno’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Gibsonville, NC for the first time. We were seated quickly and placed our drink and pizza order right away—a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza. After that, we sat and waited. And waited. For about 30 minutes, we watched as other customers came and went, picking up carryout orders or getting served at their tables. Eventually, our waitress came over and admitted she wasn’t sure what had happened to our order. She went to the back, and shortly after, our pizza appeared. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm, like it had been sitting for a while—possibly accidentally prepared as a carryout order. The waitress seemed more focused on a table of young men across the restaurant than on attending to the rest of the guests. The pizza itself was okay, but nothing special. Not much sausage on it, and overall, just underwhelming. Based on this visit, it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

this place was very good about 5 years NOW it over priced and cheap with there food quantity$9 bucks spaghetti & meatball lunch with small plate 1 meatball what a joke... do yourself a favor stay away!!

Came in and sat as usual. Waitress walked by our table not once but 4 times without even speaking, not even to state “I’ll be with you shortly”. She continued to assist other customers around us and cleaning tables without even approaching us. Very poor service to where we had to finally get up and leave after waiting about 15 minutes.

They have a really solid pie with good sauce and ingredients.

Great salad bar, good burgers and fries.

Rude ass customer service. We are all busy but that doesn’t give anyone the right to be rude after me holding for 5 minutes. Long term customer lost!!!

Had to delete my previous review if 5*'s. Because I love their meat sauce, it's the best in town. But we have left three times out the last 5 times we went because we sat for 10 minutes without being approached at the table. Always a big turn over in wait staff. But tonite was a whole new deal. We just left and ordered our "meat sauce to go" as normal. For years it was $3 -$4. Then it got jacked to $7-$8 depending on who was ringing you up. Of course they tack on the sir charge for using a debit card. Their meat sauce was so good, we told our selves it was worth it. Well No More....That meat sauce I just had to have....we won't be eating there anymore. $15.00 for the same size as we always get. This is ridiculous, no wonder they can't keep help, because after the bill, people probably feel like they can't tip. You lost us for good with this $15 decision.

The food is affordable and the owner is the best! My order was not right and he gave me a 20percent gift card to use the next time I came in. The stuffed shells and the homemade turkey burger are both my favs! My son loves the chicken parm sub!

Great food. I had the chicken wings and my wife had the baked spaghetti. The food was awesome. The wings are huge and you get 10 of them. My wife loved the baked spaghetti. Great service as well.

We stopped at Reno’s Pizza while passing through town, from Ontario Canada.. and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! The customer service was unbelievable— Antonio treated us like family from the moment we walked in, even though it was our first time there. He was so welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.

The pizza was out of this world, especially the sauce—so fresh and flavorful. They have a great variety of house specials, and I highly recommend asking Reno what he’s cooking up today! He’s got some amazing creations that aren’t on the menu.

What really impressed us was how he handled our dietary restrictions without hesitation, making sure everyone had something they could enjoy.

If you’re anywhere near Reno’s, do yourself a favor and stop in! You won’t be disappointed. Highly, highly recommend this place—great food, even better hospitality!

My first time ordering an Italian sub, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no onions, no oil and vinegar! Nothing but melted cheese with cold cuts! WTH???! $12.50 for this?? It’s supposed to be cold, it was hot! Asked for 2 orders of fries, received 1! I’ve called multiple times to get a refund and no answer! Needless to say, never ordering from here again!

Gave it a 3 because it’s hit or miss. Some days it’s amazing sammiches and other times it’s meh. AND what happened to the amazing salad bar, it’s just mediocre and you’re lucky to get any good iceberg bits and toppings. Ranch is good though.

In a world of chain restaurants and microwave meals, Reno's Pizza & Italian Restaurant isn't just a diamond in the rough - it's the whole jewelry store. Gibsonville might not be Rome, but with Reno's around, it's got a tasty slice of Italian heaven right on its doorstep.
