A beautiful, elegant restaurant filled with French influence and southern charm, complemented by an exquisite menu thoughtfully prepared and presented. The exterior of the historic home took our breath away upon arrival. It is surrounded by a delightful front porch where one can sit at cloth-covered white tables to enjoy the huge trees and gardens. Fabulous restaurant! The service was excellent, the food was very good but not exceptional. I ordered a vesper cocktail and they had no Lillet Blanc which is a main ingredient so I ordered a Manhattan straight up which was very good but it came with maraschino cherry like what you would get on a sundae. There are better choices in cherries. We were also surprised they never offered a sommelier to help with the wine selection. We are snobs when dining and our expectations are rather...

Lunch today, wonderful restaurant! i didn’t realize we had been to the St Jacques in Raleigh, and it was the same owner. We had seafood crepe, tomato pie, quiche lorraine. David was our server, professional service terrific food!
