My girlfriend and I were in the area visiting my parents for the holidays and planned a hike at Stone Mountain Park for Friday. After the hike, we ventured up Oklahoma road toward Sparta in search of a caloric recharge. We found this cozy high country gem en route! I am an Executive Chef by trade and training of over twenty years. I love to try new finds and critique them on their own model in my wanderings. Circle L is very unassuming from the outside, and anything but from the kitchen! It is exactly what you want from a small roadside diner. The people are friendly, the space was clean, the atmosphere is quaint, and the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Dana is obviously committed to her customers' enjoyment. Trinity's service was friendly and prompt. And, Justin on the flame can embarrass the vanilla homologation of fast food establishments statewide. The fresh homemade chili, slaw, and hand pattied burgers were standard setting. Sweet tea done wrong is an embarrassment in the south, this was pure nectar y'all. If you find yourself in the area, treat yourself to a rural café experience from a bygone era. They will be a stop henceforth if I can manage to be anywhere close at anytime I can find an excuse for a meal. I look forward to exploring more of the menu. Thanks for the great lunch guys!

We stopped by after a morning hike and tried the cheeseburger and hot dog. Trinity was our great server and Justin made the food well and it was very flavorful! Will have to come back on a warmer day to try the many milkshake flavors. Had a pleasant conversation with the owner, Dana, before leaving. Will definitely be back the next time we visit the area!

Dana is a gem!! Camping at Stone Mountain and wanted to find a local place to eat. Landed here at Circke L to engage in marvelous conversation and eat great food. Chicken and dumplings is a homemade delight. This is worth the destination stop.
Be sure to top off your meal with a shake. You're not too full, it just fills in the crevasses. 😉

This will be a must stop for us anytime we visit the Blue Ridge Parkway. The food was fantastic and the staff was just as impressive. Dana the owner gave my wife and I the best service we have ever had at a restaurant and the chef Andrew cooked our meals perfectly. Many restaurants get good reviews but dont live up to the hype. However, this spot more than deserves the reviews that it has online 👍
