Hidden gem!!
Went here for brunch last Sunday, We were greeted upon entering the main entrance, we were then taken to our table and it was but a minute when a server greeted us with hot biscuits in hand, answered all our questions about the menu and they don’t charge you for additional toppings for your omelette! Wonderful breakfast! Eggs cooked perfectly, Benedict isn’t traditional but it’s really good the way they make it! Definitely recommend
A delightful experience! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, our server was very attentive and the kitchen had no issues accommodating my diet/allergy!!!
Loved the Inn restaurant! Went there 4 times in 2 weeks while visiting from Savannah, GA. Service, food, and hospitality were amazing! Wishing you continued success! Thank you!
Saturday night dinner was a disaster. Entrees overcooked. Vegetables were served cold. Orders mixed up. Two entrees served then a twenty minute wait for the remainder. Just a really bad experience. House comped us three entrees and a round of desserts.
I paid $159 for the room — plus a $25 fee just to check in before 4pm — so it came out to over $200 for one night, and the experience was chaotic from the start.
At check-in, the front desk clerk, completely serious, said she often gets confused between the 6 and the 9 on the room keys. We were genuinely nervous we’d walk into someone else’s room. The website also states that a valid photo ID and credit card are required at check-in, but I wasn’t asked for either. That’s a huge safety concern.
Inside the room, we found live spider webs behind the door, dead bugs on the sink, and the only usable outlet for charging a phone was under the center of the bed — which meant crawling through dust, cobwebs, and more dead insects. Not what I’d expect for the price.
The website advertises a “continental breakfast” for inn guests, but what they actually offer is Sunday brunch from 11am to 3pm. That’s not breakfast, it’s not daily, and it’s certainly not continental. There’s no clear info on who it’s for, where it’s served, or what’s available the rest of the week. It feels intentionally vague.
Worst of all — we woke up to a soaked floor. The air conditioner had been leaking all night. The phone on that side of the bed was water-damaged, and our shoes by the door were drenched. We had to drive two hours home barefoot. I wish I was kidding.
I don’t mind rustic or low-frills, but this felt disorganized, unclean, and unsafe. Definitely not worth $200+ a night.
My review is for the restaurant. The biscuits were fantastic as was the cherry butter. My fritata was not. It was overcooked. Overcooked eggs are not good. My brother's frittata was the same. My dad had crab cakes. I make crab cakes. These had a horrible fishy taste, like the crabs were not fresh. My hashbrowns were precooked, so ugh. The squash was fantastic. My mom had the seafood basket. It was excellent. Her fries were worse than my potatoes.
If you go, order the seafood plate and do not get hash browns or fries. Get squash. Oh, coffee was good. Waitress was nice.
We recently stayed here for a few days for a wedding located at Summit on Cross Mountain. The location was about a ten minute drive. This area is beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay here. We had one dinner and it was good and great service. We stayed in the presidential suite. Room was large. Bathroom was a bit small for two people. I must’ve forgot about the coffee room because i didn’t find it until our last day there. Great service !!
We only ate dinner there. The steak and lobster was so so. Lobster cooked too long and you had to pry it from shell. The sides were very good though
Nice quiet setting. Dining area warm, staff friendly. My entrée was Filet mignon and lobster, sides were a salad, and mashed yams. The filet was superb, the lobster should have never left the kitchen. Very small which was nothing compared to the fact that it was extremely tough, so tough it wouldn’t come away from the shell. The mashed yams were excellent, and the salad was very good, with a nice presentation. My husband had the chicken, mashed yams, and a salad. All very good. With everything other than the lobster being beyond disappointing especially for the price charged, it was very nice for a date night.

Great food, service drinks and people. We love eating here regularly and highly recommend you try it!
Hoping this was not their standard procedure on the food tasting. First time trying this restaurant.. I got the filet mignon wrapped in bacon..I have no words for the taste except horrible… The bacon wrap looked gray in color.. The herb butter baked potato looked like it had been baked yesterday and reheated. My daughter’s plate was horrible too.. the grilled shrimp tasted like a dirty grill taste. I do have to say the house salad was very good and the tea was delicious. No thank you.. I will not be back…I do not mind paying highly for a delicious meal.. but this was money thru out the window…
First time there on March 19th. Staff was great and food was good. Chef even came out to discuss how I wanted my entree cooked. Staff provided a lot of history on the Inn and encouraged us to look around. Very good experience - we'll be back.
We stopped for Sunday brunch and it was wonderful! The menu offered variety and everything was prepared perfectly. The presentation was beautiful. We hope to go back for a summer supper!
This review is about the restaurant only. My wife and I have had dinner here a couple of times recently. The food is outstanding. Ian (chef) is a great cook. Jennifer was a great waitress. Catch of the week was grilled grouper. It was fantastic. I would definitely recommend.
