Flynn's has been our go to restaurant now for the last 5 weekends straight. I have tried something different each time and have truly enjoyed everything I've had . My wife gets the BBQ bacon burger and absolutely loves it . The sides are great as well . Great atmosphere inside and out of this great little restaurant. The owners really take pride in their place of business and it shows with every plate that is delivered to each table . And if you like banana pudding then you have to try theirs , It's the best ever . I look forward to each time I get to go to Flynn's .
We found this gem by chance on the way home from the zoo. The food was wonderful, and I decided to do something simple so I ordered chicken tenders. It was fried to perfection with perfectly crispy breading and the chicken was not dry at all. I hoped for a crispy chicken tender, the breading was unlike any other kind I've ever had and exceeded any original expectations I had. The okra was great and the country fried steak was wonderful too. The prices were reasonable and the amount of food was generous as well. We will have to stop by again the next time we are in the area.

Yes it's the only restaurant in Gold Hill. But that doesn't mean it's not excellent! Really great southern food and sandwiches. And just as beautiful as the rest of Gold Hill. It's like stepping back in time. The only warning I have is to steer clear of the shrimp and grits. Which is strange. Because the rest of the food is so good.
We ate here Sunday for our 2nd time.. absolutely AMAZING food.. real food.. not over cooked frozen processed garbage you get from most restaurants these days!! Would highly recommend them.. get the broccoli.. you’ll thank me later!!!

If I'm being honest the service can use improvement. The score is not based on service but heavily based on the food. In my opinion i feel this restaurant needs to take their flatbread pizza in another direction. It's pretty much the quality of public school cafeteria pizza if I can make a comparison. Mashed potatoes were just okay.

Took a day trip to Gold Hill Mines and ran across this gem. Great place to eat, staff was pleasant and very accommodating. The food was great and the cost was below what I expected. Not many places you can go and get a huge hand pattied burger and half a plate of fries for $10 bucks. We will definitely plan to eat there again on our next trip to Gold Hill Mines.
Loved this place! Our sever and food was great! Not what I was expecting with the quantity of food! Go hungry! My cheeseburger was huge and I couldn’t eat all of it! Their hand patty burgers were flavorful and larger than most! The homemade banana pudding was delicious! We were greeted when we came in and all the staff were very friendly! Definitely will come back next time I’m in the area!

Terrible experience at flynns on Dec 16 ordered a few sandwiches all of which were on stale bread and a beyond disappointing philly. The small amount of dried out meat and lack of flavor will be the reason I do not return to flynns. I wish I could attach a photo to my review.

All the food was flavorful and the portions were substantial. The sloppy joes were amazing. All the fried food was crispy, hot, and not greasy. Best tots and fried pickles and incredible homemade chips. Chicken on salad was large, delicious, and not the fake spongy meat - real chicken!!! Will be back!
