Can't rate on food/service since they were closed even though Google said they were open on Saturday. We came for their Saturday Ribeye special

This was our first visit. This is a small in the country type restaurant but the wait staff was friendly the food was good with plenty of parking. We did take out with hardly no wait time.

We went on a Friday night. We didn't have to wait to order. Maybe we went on an off night. Ordered brisket and after waiting 30 minutes or so, I was told they were out, so I got shrimp. Food finally came out. Cabbage was so tough you couldn't eat it. Overall, most of the food was good. Maybe we will give it another try if we are in the area.

We were in the area and this joint was on our way home. My husband was skeptical but he actually enjoyed his meal. Mine was pretty good too. My only complaint was the fountain drinks were out of 3 options and the starry tasted weird so I opted for tea instead. Our 2 year old ate with me and we ate for $20 before tip. Only thing i would do different would be order an additional side of hushpuppies because my 3 wasn't enough since they were delicious!

Katie was our waitress, she was amazing! Very kind, offered us hush puppies since our food was taking longer. Burger was delicious, cutesy dining room atmosphere. If you’re traveling and happen to pass by this hidden gem I would stop in and get some food. 10/10 ☺️

Newly remodeled & squeaky clean. Fresh! The ribeye steak may be the BEST in ENC. Hand cut (real) fries. (Huge list of homemade desserts, but I was toooo full of ribeye & fries.😋)

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path…..but so worth it. Nothing fancy! But friendly with fast service. Everything we had was scrumptious. My husband had bbq pork, bbq 1/4 chicken, field peas, and butter beans. And I love vegetables and they had a vegetable plate. The items available were hard to choose from. I had steamed cabbage, black eyed peas and candied yams. They give you hush puppies and they were yummy as well. We will definitely be coming back later this year when we go to Myrtle beach.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight, what a great find. Local family owned restaurant, wonderful home cooked meals. Fried flounder was terrific, as was the BBQ brisket and all of the sides. People working there were so kind, friendly, and respectful. Highly recommend go there, you won’t be disappointed.
