Excellent, excellent everything!! Fried flounder with a little taste of garden salad, squash casserole, potato salad and hush puppies with Chocolate pie for dessert. And chicken salad to go!! You cannot find better food anywhere. Taylor gave wonderful service. This will be our new favorite restaurant. The owners and employees are top notch.

We arrived at 12:20 ask for coffee as our beverage was told we are out of coffee and couldn't make a fresh pot. Restaurant closes at 2:20 we were told..so really no coffee... We decided to leave...

The value is excellent for what you get, best place to eat on a budget. The staff is always friendly and remember regulars orders. Parking can be a bit difficult especially in the afternoon. They do run out of things quite often on certain days like meatloaf and collard greens and lemon and chocolate pie, but they do get very busy so kind of understandable. Best value in town hands down. Comfort food

This place is the best , home cooked fried chicken, chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, chicken fried chicken, different specials daily. Super cheap it's a Goldsboro staple of mine now , Everytime I'm in town eat it. It's literally $10 I think for two side ,sides main course, and a tea and hush puppies. And you can add a desert for like $2-3 more. GO TO THIS PLACE. You won't be disappointed if you like country cooking on the cheap.
