The price was excellent, they gave you ice tea, bread, or hush puppies, an entrée +3 sides for eight dollars. Of course, for that price, the sides are small, and the entrée left a lot to be desired, I ordered chicken and noodles and it was mostly a bunch of dry noodles with no taste , no Graver, gravy or sauce, and two bites of shredded chicken breast on top. But I think I probably ordered the wrong entrée. I’m sure the other entrées must have been better. The place was packed and they had a long line from the time I arrived to the time I left. The sides were very good, I had greens, yams, and butter beans, all were excellent, the hush puppies were excellent. I recommend this restaurant.

I was visiting from New York and when I arrived my friend took me to this location because she liked their breakfast. When we arrived there was no one at the entrance to seat us. We waited around to see if anyone would seat us. Someone else came in and simply sat at a table that had dirty dishes. Once I saw that, i was I sat at the first available table I saw. Once seated, a server came to pick up the dirty dishes. It was really crowded that our server even forgot our utensils when she served our food. The space was spacious, and the location looked clean. I even went again two days later for breakfast and even was able to take something from their lunch menu.

She was so accommodating and had the best attitude!The atmosphere here is a whole hometown vibe and I can’t wait to eat here again. The prices are extremely affordable and the food is delicious!
