15 years ago, this place was worth coming to Goldsboro for. Goldsboro is a garbage ass town, mind you, and this place was so good I'd drive an hour just to get lunch here. Incredible seasoning, top tier sauces, friendly service, etc. Just went again today, for the first time in years. I don't know what they did, but it is *b a d* now. I think they're just trying to emulate Chipotle too much. The queso is grainy, the "chipotle pepper beef" is just shredded roast beef with some soggy diced bell peppers. The sauces are all diluted with too much vinegar. The kid who made mine did a piss-poor job wrapping it, and didn't drain any of the wet ingredients before slopping them in, so the whole thing was just a bland water balloon. God I hate to talk this badly about a place I genuinely loved when I lived in town, but it's gone to hell. Get back to y'all's roots, man, that's what made you good.

My husband and I lived in Goldsboro years ago. This restaurant is what we miss most. We stop in to eat every time we come through and the food is always fantastic! The staff are so friendly, and you can tell they love working there. If you have not tried Bonfires, do yourself a favor and make a trip!!! It's like Subway, only for Burritos! Be careful of the Beast. It is two meals in one!

I was introduced to Bonfires since being introduced to it in 2009, and have eaten there almost weekly since then. Chipotle and Moe's can't hold a candle to this place. Sure, some burritos are messier than others and may vary in size, depending on who makes it. But the absolute top-notch quality of the food has never been sacrificed. Everything tastes incredible, and the service is impeccable. Keep doing what you do, Bonfires.

This was my first time coming here and I ordered the beast and I feel like for paying that amount. I got the middle size burrito because my burrito fits in my bag. My friend got the same burrito but somehow his overflowed past the bag and it was my first time here and my experience wasn’t very good, if I go back again, I know who to get now but watch who you get make your burritos for the price you pay should get what you pay for
