Very loud music, I could barely hear myself speak to the person sitting next to me. There was an excessive amount of workers just standing around and eating plates of food behind the bar. I felt ignored. And also very grossed out, because working in the food industry staff didn’t eat in customer view.

Never made it inside. There was no parking nearby during the noon hour today. The B&G Grill lot was full. The few spaces all around the building and near city hall were full. You can say how wonderful the downtown is all you want to, but there is not enough parking. I wish Brisas would have stayed on Center Street or moved away from downtown. Maybe they just plan on being open in the evenings? I called to ask for help but there was no answer.

I reviewed their menu online and thought that my favorite dish, pollo jardinera, was back. When I arrived, I was disappointed that it was not on the menu. That's not a huge deal, but just disappointing. The problem was what happened next.I contacted them the next day to inform them that their online menu was incorrect. Their first response was that they only serve brunch on Sunday. I said I ate there Saturday. They responded that their menu is correct. I took a screenshot of their menu and sent it to them. Their response was that only one item was incorrect. No kidding, that's what I wanted.I can never do business with a company that is dismissive of my attempts to actually correct an issue instead of just hopping online to complain about it, but your responses led to me writing this.

I'm not sure what their old spot was like, but the new place is awesome! Staff handled a busy dining room well and accommodated our group of four and our special dietary restrictions with kindness.

Tres golpes was good, mangu was a little bit dry, nachos were good, husband asked to add chicken to nachos since it was just eggs and $10 charge just for one piece of chicken it is a little bit pricey, we ordered a side of grits with butter it was terrible really dry daughter did not ate after first bite and we told our server and we still got charge $4.99

I highly recommend checking out Brisas when going on a date night or an outdoor lunch in Goldsboro, NC. My girlfriend and I really enjoy having dinner here. I have tried a variety of dishes here and one of my all time favorites is the chicken carbonara. The fried pimento cheeseballs with the tomato jam are to die for! The also have amazing empanadas! They typically have local live music on Thursday and Friday nights. I highly recommend stopping by Brisas when in Downtown Goldsboro!

Almost didn't stop here due to the mixed reviews. Glad I did. If you're looking for some Latin vibes whether it's food or music, this one will meet that need. I orderered their Pernil lunch special. My BIL is from Puerto Rico and theirs came close to his. Very tasty and the portion is more than enough. Also ordered their fresh stir fry veggie and for $3.99, it's a steal. The ambiance is very cozy with a bar and a small sitting area to the left. BTW, I forgot to mention that this located right in Goldsboro historic district. The people watching is a plus.

I ordered the pescador steak. It’s around $35 and comes with mash potatoes and veggies. The potatoes were bland and had no seasoning. The veggies were undercooked. Now I’m assuming the $35 cost comes from the quality of the steak. First impressions the steak is big and the tomato sauce is good but the cut of meat itself was very low quality. The amount of gristle and fat was ridiculous. The steak was not tender at all. I literally broke my plastic cutlery trying to cut it. Overall that meal was very expensive for being substandard. Save your $35 and get you a more quality cut of meat somewhere else. I will say the service and staff are always friendly. My mixed drink was delicious.
