1st timer...No smiley faces &No AC, it was too warm in there that day. Ice cream was melting fast, but my order was accurate & very good.

The ladies that were working first greeted us in and it felt like a warm environment at first. We weren’t quite ready to order which is why we were far from the register and they still yelled to us what can we get you, but that’s okay, you just wanna help the customer. Then when we were ready the 3 workers stood in front of us and kept talking. I didn’t interrupt, just waited. They finally got around to serving us and it felt like they were in a rush. She didn’t even ask me what toppings I would like. And my boyfriend’s icecream took a minute because the lady was still in conversation. When I asked for the receipt the young woman gave a look and handed it, like it’s wrong to want a receipt. And the icecream was melting before they even put it in a cup. Just the energies were not good.

Wasn’t even what i asked for but whatever we can get past that. Turning down the music so they could hear would help. The ice cream was already melting as she was putting in the Oreos and this is 5 mins later when i got home to eat it.

Unfortunately this store has gone downhill tremendously!! There were only 2 young girls working, neither of which knew what they were doing. The sizes of our ice cream were all over the place (3 like its, 1 barely reached the top of the cup, one slightly over and one overflowing). We were overcharged for extra toppings because my girls wanted 2 different flavors, even though it was the same amount of ice cream because you’re buying according to the size, they charged us for “extra toppings”. My son asked for cookie dough ice cream and there were no cookie dough chunks in it, we were later told that is an add in!!! So his ice cream was only what tasted like vanilla ice cream with the sprinkles he added. We went out for what was supposed to be a fun family night and it turned into disappointment. Poor, untrained service with outrageous prices (almost $50 for 3 like its and 2 love its) We will not be going here again!

I’ve worked here, and the management is absolutely unacceptable. There is a serious roach infestation that the owner has ignored, and black mold is growing in multiple areas of the store. Many of the toppings are expired, and instead of discarding them, the owner changes the expiration dates. The waffle bowls and cones are stale, and food safety is clearly not a priority.

Underage employees are overworked and expected to run the store with little to no adult supervision. The owner is rarely present, and there is no designated manager — the store is essentially operated by teenagers. The cleaning procedures are inadequate, and some areas of the store even smell foul due to mold and poor sanitation practices.

Perhaps most alarming is that they do not display their sanitation rating, which is legally required. That’s likely because their rating is a C-, which reflects the unsanitary and unsafe conditions I’ve described. This establishment is in desperate need of a health inspection and serious managerial reform.

The ice cream is Coldstone's, so at least it was good. The service part is what hurts the review. Most of the staff today really had no clue what they were doing. We ordered two large milkshakes, one from the menu and one chocolate and coffee. The first person just went blank and was confused by the request. The second person (who actually made them) had to ask how to make them. I'm almost sure they were newer employees, which is understandable, but in a food service industry there should be better training. They asked us three times while figuring out how to make them what size. We said regular when ordering and every time they asked only to be served a small. It looked like they didn't have any regular cups or said anything about it. The amount that was made wouldn't have filled a regular size cup either. We paid for small shakes with no issue.

As much as I love coldstone I hate to say our relationship is over.. I went today and I’m was pissed at the fact a small milkshake was 8.99.. and a kids cup was 4.99…. They are getting out of hand with the prices… ain’t no way… it definitely ain’t getting imported.. I’ll be surprised if it stay open another year. I’m disappointed

Their song says tell them if you have any food allergies. I told him I have a gluten allergy they could not tell me if any of the ice cream was gluten free or not. Why put a sign up says asking about food allergies when you do not have employees trained to know what product has what type of ingredients in it.

We ordered the heart shaped truffle ice cream cake and whatever we got looks like a little kid made it. Looks nothing at all like advertised for the price it's pretty disappointing

Ordered a waffle cone ice cream and a waffle cone was completely stale. Waited in line way too long no one to check out literally wanting to pay and no one to pay or help. I also ordered a chocolate bowl and a chocolate cone instead bugs all over the place not a great experience. .

Familiar Place

I’ve been to other coldstones around NC and this one has to be the worst one I’ve been to. The workers act as if they don’t want to work or be there in general. It was very busy when I went today and they didn’t greet anyone, barely made eye contact, they seem flustered/annoyed, letting customers stand there for long periods of time with no help, etc. I understand a busy day can be stressful, but the environment was not welcoming. The ice cream melts extremely fast, I’ve never had coldstone and the ice cream came half melted. I would recommend the store to hire new employees or give the current ones a pep talk. No customer should experience the service I did.

This place is ran by teenagers who obviously don’t want to be there. I don’t blame them but it doesn’t make for a very welcoming experience.
