Portion are ok. Burger tasted kinda bland. It's kinda expensive for what it is. I ate here to try to support the local business, but it was pretty meh. Scallops and shrimp were meh. Deviled crabs were decent. Sweet potato waffle fries were pretty dry. On the plus side, hushpuppies and regular fries were good.

I was truly disappointed in dinner tonight. Combination plate Fried shrimp and fried oysters.Shrimp was soggy like they put it in the microwave and the oysters was cooked in burnt oil and was mushy/pasty on the inside.I paid my bill and left to go to Wendy's. As I was preparing to pay the cashier's called out what we had and my response was "if that's what call it". She didn't ask any other questions because she saw it in my eyes..Enjoy that last $35.00 from me

Really disappointing and our experience did not meet the prior Yelp reviews. Fried chicken had a 20-minute wait so opted for the fried chicken sandwich. Turns out it was what appeared to be frozen chicken tenders. Fries were cold. Ordered a dozen hush puppies and they all but 3 or 4 came over cooked. I would not have served. The BLT sandwich was fine and the accompanying fried okra were nothing special. The place itself was pretty odd in its layout. We will not return.

The oil is old. The shrimp was rubbery from being fried to fast. Fries were overcooked and greasy. Hushpuppies were overcooked and hard on the outside, but undercooked inside, still doughy. The flounder was greasy and salty, old particles of other food on the fish. Fries had too much salty seasoning on them. Slaw was great. 2nd time trying seafood and no good. Was asked if I wanted another plate cause they won't refund....no thank you!

4-1-23Two locations, this being the Rosewood one. Came for dinner on the date above. Interior is unique in that some seating is around a corner. Limited. Our table felt a tad sticky but wasn't dirty. Menus, however, were dirty.Got the Coastal Platter (16.99). A lot of food! Preface by saying I wanted okra and catfish, but they were out of both. So I got flounder, oysters, trout, mac and cheese, fries, and it comes with puppies. I found the trout ok but would have preferred catfish. Would skip it. The flounder was fried nicely, light and flavorful. Excellent. Oysters were also fried nicely with a hint of sweet bite to them. Excellent, too. Would totally reorder both the flounder and oysters. Mac and cheese and fries are good, accompanying sides. Puppies did nothing for me and needed butter.Service was good and waitress attentive. Needs to work on inventory a bit as was really looking forward to okra and catfish.Fry Daddy's is true to its name with an exhaustive fried menu. Are you looking for fried food without the grease splatter mess? This is a good option. Details, however, can make it great.Parking: Small.
