I am one lucky man to live within walking distance of some of the best beers in the state. GBW's beers are in a class with Highland, NoDa, and Olde Meck, and I'd rank them higher than Legion, Birdsong, or Hopfly. They have four screens of taps--32, I think--the first 12 of which are their own excellent brews: A few staples, a couple of seasonals, some experiments, and an excellent cold-brew coffee used for their porter, and in the espresso martini at Church up and around...
Coming from West Coast to East Coast is always a battle of tastes. The owner and crew make some of the best beers I've had on the East Coast. Kudos to the crew and keep on making great beer
A true adults bar. I don't frequent bars because of the crowd and we don't drink often. We stayed above the bar in one of the lofts and figured we'd try it out. Get a flight. They're fun! My favorites were number 6 (their brand red ale) and 22 (pumkin/yam ipa-i think) they are so kind and even the customers are kind! You just don't find that anymore. We will be back!
