I hope this place does not cease to exist... I have been there twice, the first time was good and the second time even better, the sushi, the burgers and the attitude of the waiters... I love them... I hope May they be motivated to be better every time, since most places have waiters who apparently hate life! I don't recommend alcoholic drinks, since they charge you for a sad glass as if you drank the whole bottle, but everything else is very good, I hope to have a 3rd visit to this place!

Stopped here based on the reviews plus it's on my list of restaurants to try in Goldsboro. The menu has both American and Asian selections. Tonight I ordered their sushi special, Kinston roll and blacked tuna (their version of ahi tuna). Portion is what would you expect from sushi order. The blackend tuna which sat on a bed of grilled zucchini and onions was tender and the sweet white sauce drizzled on top made it tastier. The Kinston roll ( shrimp tempura inside, bluefin tuna outside with spicy Mayo, avocado, eel sauce and masago was interesting combination. It's good but that's because I like shrimp tempura.
I sat on the bar (my favorite spot in any restaurants I go to). Service was good. THe bartender was more than capable and attentive even though she's fairly new working there.
Next time, I'll try their burgers. The bulgogi one sounds interesting. Will let u know how it goes.

Great sushi, burgers, chicken tenders, and great atmosphere!
family and I came in tonight for dinner, great experience overall!!!! Our server Madi was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed, made sure our food was right with little to no wait, she even drew funny faces on our sons cup to make him smile. She definitely made it a great experience and for that we will be coming back.!!!!!!

Our first time in Goldsboro. Here to visit Seymour Johnson Base to see where our son worked on jet propulsion. Came in late, saw the signs on the road. We first stopped elsewhere but the location and vibe didn't mess with us. So we drove downtown to Jay's. Did NOT disappoint! Everything about this place is cool and the food is top notch. Servers are 👍👍👍 and the food is top notch! We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
