Kathy’s Kitchen is the perfect spot for breakfast in Goldsboro! The food is absolutely delicious and comes out hot and fresh every time. The service is just as amazing—friendly, fast, and welcoming, which really makes you feel at home. It honestly felt like the whole town was there enjoying their morning together, which gave it such a warm, old-school community vibe. If you’re looking for a great place to start your day, this is definitely the spot.
We have been going to Kathy's religiously for years. One of the best places to get a home cooked breakfast or lunch! Always my go-to and most recommended place!

Great breakfast spot! I had the Mitchell's mayhem i think it was called? Biscuit, gravy, hash browns, cheese, and 2 eggs all piled together with a choice of meat. I went with the sausage patty based on other reviews.
1)Note I gave 5 stars, even with these critiques.
2)The biscuit could have been hotter. Obviously baked earlier, by necessity, it probably could have benefited with a few minutes on the grill while the rest was being prepared.
