I was really upset by the experience here. While the host Evelyn V seemed nice at first, it was disappointing and disgusting to hear her speaking negatively about me once I was out of earshot — or at least she thought I was. For a place that wasn’t busy and pretty much empty, the attitude just didn’t make sense. If there’s an issue, it’s much more respectful and tactful to address it directly or just let it go. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere over something so simple. UPDATE: I only left one star because unfortunately there isn’t a zero star option. I previously left a comment about the poor and unprofessional service, and unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem the experience. The “fried” rice, meant to be arroz chaufa, was just okay — the chicken was extremely dry, and I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The other rice was plain and lacked any seasoning or flavor, making it quite dull. The beans were particularly disappointing — they tasted off, almost rancid, couldn’t even continue eating them. As for the sauces that Evelyn V had such an issue with, the yellow one was thick and barely passable, while the green sauce was mostly just oil with herbs, lacking any real depth or flavor. The only decent part of the meal was the rotisserie chicken, but even that was underwhelming in size for what was supposed to be a whole chicken. For a better experience, I’d recommend Alpaca Chicken over this place any day.

Great food! Also great place to enjoy a quiet meal with good friends and have ability to talk leisurely. Love the tea too.

We went to lunch after a high school graduation. The strawberry lemonade was so delicious and refreshing. I ordered the salmon with the steamed vegetables and crispy potatoes. It was really good. I would definitely choose to eat there again.

I was highly disrespected by the restaurant owner when I informed him that my meal was incorrect and that the price wasn't justified. I informed him that I didn't touch the meal and I don't want it. The owner condescending tone of telling me that I'm wasting his time and his food. He then told me that I will be paying and I did not. He called the cops on me, proceeded to record me, and put his hands on me when I started to leave the establishment. Highly unprofessional, rude, condescending and he made a comment towards another black individual: You know how your people are. It's good to know that the owner is highly RACIST as well. Terrible location to eat at.

For Mother’s Day instead of serving special meals the owner decided to make a Buffett type service and charges 30.00 adults and 15.00 kids dishes!
If the food was fresh and replenished promptly for people to serve themselves the price might have been worth it, BUT IT WAS NOT!!
3 adults ate barely anything because there was no food to serve themselves.
The dishes were not washed well so you had to search for a clean plate to serve your food.
The area for serving was a small room which fit mostly the food and people pushing through.
They force add 20% gratuity to the bill without any option!
Overall I will never ever eat there again. And I don’t advise anyone do so. Do not recommend! Owner is nasty!

Carlos and his staff, especially our waitress Crystal are always welcoming to us. We enjoy both lunch and dinner. The food, service is always exceptional and this why we are “regulars.”

Why are more people not talking about this place? The most under rated restaurant in Goldsboro. My husband and I went for the first time last night to celebrate NYE and our first anniversary. I cannot recommend enough. The food was so fresh and amazing. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress was the sweetest. This is a must try!

Phenomenal food that is well worth the trip. A fantastic restaurant surrounded by syndicated chains.

Very nice restaurant. Cozy and warm. Prices were reasonable for lunch. Had the roast beef plate with salad and homemade cut fries. Some parts of the roast beef were a bit tougher than others but not too bad. The flavor was very good. Recommend anyone to try this place out.

Absolutely delicious. The price point is understandable for this level of goodness. The owner came out and described Peruvian food and it's history to us
