My family and I have eaten at Mimmo's since they were in their original place back in 1985. Everything on the menu is awesome and is hand-made. The Tortellini alla Panna, the Gnocchi, the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and the Sausage and Peppers are all highly recommended as is the Garlic Cheese Bread. Mimmo even suffered through me adding Italian Sausage to the White Pizza (it's awesome and he should really try it).And definitely finish the meal with Cannoli - it's the best I've ever had and I've travelled all over.

I'm currently reheating pizza that should still be hot however, when my son and I went to pick up the pizza, the young man working behind the bar did not even bother to look in the kitchen as he told the young lady that took our money that "our pizza was not done yet". My son and I would still be sitting there if it was not for the kind older waitress, that noticed we had been sitting at the bar for quite some time, asking us about our order... and then going back and seeing that it had already been done when we had initially paid for it. I actually called in my order in 35 minutes before we arrived, just as they requested; I just wish we were important enough customers for him to have felt the need to actually GO and CHECK if our pick-up order was ready.

We went as a big family, at least 20 of us, we were put in the party room. The waitress was calm, patient, got us everything we needed. The food was delicious, we were told that they only had one person in the kitchen, which makes sense for how small the restaurant is. Our family had, pepperoni pizza, garlic bread w cheese, French fries, and the tortellini w vodka sauce added spinach. Everything was soooo delicious. Very similar to the pizza I grew up with.
Vegetarian options: Several options without meat, cheese only.
Dietary restrictions: Everything has cheese but I’m sure you could ask for it without.
Parking: The location is kind of like a strip mall but indoors. So there’s lots of parking.
Kid-friendliness: I didn’t notice an actual kids menu but within the ala carte menu I noticed there were smaller portions. If you want a kids drink they have them as well. Our kids were there for close to 3 hours and began playing in the foyer where all the other businesses were. No one was upset.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Can't speak to the atmosphere as I grubhubbed it. I will say that after 20 years away from Goldsboro, they are still my favorite Italian place, hands down! Had the Gnocchi ricotta & spinach, a cheese calzone, and a chocolate canoli that was to die for!

Well whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words is not always correct. We went to Mimmo's pizza and pasta for dinner last night and what a huge disappointment, I had penne with vodka sauce and my wife had gnocchi with spinach and cheese sauce, both had no flavor, like milk gravy over nothing and no cheese, mine was supposed to have prosciutto and onions absolutely no flavor we expected more for the prices. We will NOT return, and do not recommend. Oh almost forgot fried calamari was like eating rubber bands.
The 16 inch pepperoni pizza I picked up at 4:45 PM yesterday was certainly not up to your standards. It was very salty and had VERY little cheese. My first disappointing experience at Mimmo’s. My friends and I rave about the quality of your food! I’ll be back … but I hope I’m not disappointed again.

My family and I are literally sitting in the restaurant right now. We asked for appetizers. They served the appetizers and I guess wanted us to even them over napkins??? I had to wait for the waitress to stop wiping her nose to get her attention to ask for plates and then she hands a bunch to me! I guess I’m supposed to hand them out to my family??? The food sucks now. Used to come here years ago and the owner would walk around and check on the customers. Half the staff is high yet the prices gone up. It used to remind me a little of home, Brooklyn. Never again to much to even say. What gave us the impression the waitress was high was her red glassy eyes and what seemed to be nodding out. To be fair, she was being the hostess and dealing with all the tables while the other girls behind the counter were snickering, hanging behind the counter and complaining about how they weren’t moving from behind it. Perhaps our waitress was just over worked!
