Visited the restaurant on 9/26 around 6:30. There were three people, we were sat at a table, once one was clean which took 10-15 minutes, and other another 15 minutes before anyone even noticed us. Then they brought us one set of silverware and waited another 10 minutes for them to bring two forks and as they were out of knives we had to share one knife between the three of us for our meal. Ordered antipasto, which was skimpy on toppings, and ordered three meals, which two arrived about 30 minutes after ordering, however the other meal arrived about 10 minutes later as they couldn’t find it. The breading on the shrimp, weekend special, was not cooked the breading near the shrimp was still raw. I told them it was not cooked correctly, but they didn’t seem to care. As the meal wasn't cooked and I had to remove all of the breading I asked for a small side of red sauce; however, I later found out it they charged $2.50 for it and after questioning it was told yes thats correct. After the meal and all of the issues we spoke with the owner and explained how the meals were; however, she didn't seem to care or offer to make it right. This was a VERY poor experience and the lack of concern from the owner was was unacceptable and let her know we would not be returning. I have been told this is not normal; however, the careless attitude of the owner and poor food quality makes me think otherwise.

Haven’t been to Mimmo’s in a while and decided to grab dinner for date night last week. Our meals were great as usual however our server lacked actually serving skills. She addressed my husband each time when she eventually came to our table but never actually addressed me with eye contact and in the manner she did my husband which was strange. The 3 times in total she came to our table which counted when she took our order she only stood on my husbands side of the table and my husband said he could smell alcohol on her that was trying to be covered up with an overwhelming amount of perfume. Hopefully she was just new and needs some more training however I will politely ask not to have her as our server next time we go in and if she is working.

Love the food. Love the Family. It's been years (15+) since I had the pleasure of working for Mimmo and his Lovely Wife and Daughters. It's been equally as long since I have enjoyed their food. They are still so consistent after all that time. Portions are a bit smaller and prices a bit higher, but that's everywhere these days. The table bread is so fresh I could fill up on that alone. My grandma and I shared a huge antipasto salad to start. Which that thing was as big as I remembered my husband decided to also help out. I ordered a gnocchi dish It's Mimmos creation always a fav of mine. My grandma a veal with capers, definitely on the small side but big in flavor. My husband having never eaten there except the pizza years ago. He ordered a sub and that to was enormous. Our server was a charming young lady that knew that menu like it was her favorite book. The new location was cozy and the warm atmosphere is delightful for families to enjoy a wholesome meal and good conversation. Unfortunately I did not get enjoy any of the spirits due to I was driving but definitely look foward to returning.

Fantastic pizza! My husband and I order it at least once a week and it never disappoints. Tonight, I decided to try something different and ordered the cheese tortellini with sausage. I wasn’t given the price over the phone, and when I went to pick it up, I was surprised to find it cost over $25. Personally, that feels pretty steep for pasta with sausage. While I won’t be ordering the pasta again, we’ll definitely keep coming back for the pizza—it’s always worth it!

Dead fly in my tea was resolved with a “ I’m not sure how that got in there” . No offer to comp tea or meal. Had to get manager approval to take tea off after we asked. So disappointing. Could have made a bad situation ok if they had just owned it and offered something for the gross fly in my tea. I will not be going back. Atmosphere was nice and waitress was friendly but poor customer service.

Our favorite waitress Heather was not working (who was PHENOMENAL), maybe she's not there anymore, we weren't sure but they need to hire new servers for sure. Our server this time shouldn't have been working there (would mention her name but I don't want to embarass her). I don't know if something was wrong with her, but she acted very strange, never made eye contact with us, and was not too friendly. My husband used the restroom and said for some reason, it smelled like marijuana in there. We will NOT be coming back ever again.

Hands down the best Italian food in and/or around Wayne County, not to mention it’s authentic. The prices are very reasonable, the service is always on-point and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Family owned/run and a staple of Wayne County cuisine. If you’ve never been I highly recrecommend it 👍
