Ms. Jo is customer service at it's finest! She has a warm inviting personality. I can't say enough good things about her. They have a gem in ms Jo! The food is excellent, hot, fresh and yummy 😋. Don't take my word for it, go in and try it.

Great value on the plates. Two sides and hush puppies included. Loved that they have a sink so you can wash your hands without having to go into the restroom, very handy. The three young ladies working in the front were so sweet and helpful.

Normally this place is great the best place to eat in rosewood but today i ordered a chicken dark plate with both thighs they person on the drive through speaker marked it up wrong and the employees dont know what thighs look like because i got a dark plate with a leg and a wing so not even what i wanted the side i ordered is fries and baked beans both of which are cold and feel like they were just under a heat lamp for the entire morning also normally these are in the tray with the plate you order but today they are separate just wasting materials for some reason normally i recommend this place to go and get food but if this becomes the standard im going to start recommending the failing taco bell across the street because at least they dont get your order wrong and know how their register works

The chicken and BBQ were very good. The shrimp were okay, but the size were the smallest shrimp I have ever seen and the quantity was very small. The server was excellent and she made sure we had everything we needed.

I received a 2 piece dark dinner with potato salad and baked beans. I normally love both of these sides but there was a very, very small portion in the tray. Truly not enough for an adult meal, but definitely for a kid's meal. Not a happy customer.

The chicken ? was delish, and so was the Cole slaw, potato salad, and the pecan ? pie..yummy!!!...but there was definitely something wrong with the milk?...the taste was not spoiled, but just disgusting like plasticy or just unexplainable...ewww.

I frequent this location when I'm in Goldsboro working. I went here 8/22/24 around 1:30. Service was good. I ordered the dark meat chicken meal. The chicken was old. It was room temp, the crust and meat was rubbery. It had been cooked a long time. Maybe leftover from early lunch. The hushpuppies were as bad. The other real issue was, the window cleaner cleaning windows right over my table as you cab see in the photo. I asked him if I needed to leave because he was dripping water/liquid on My table. He just said non shalontly, "no youre fine" like I was in his way. Seems Smithfields would have this done before/after hours NOT while customers are eating and especially inconsiderate enough to do it right over their head. Not a good experience for sure. Smithfields please stop serving old rubbery chicken. This location use to be top notch. Hot fresh tasting food but here lately they've gone downhill. I likely will rethink going back here ever.
