The first issue I experienced was that I told the cashier exactly what I wanted several times and she repeatedly (4 times) asked me if I wanted to make them combos. All I desired were sandwiches and told her. Then I had to wait for a minute or two for her to change the screen because she automatically made my orders combos even after telling her I only desired the sandwiches.
I don't know what happened with my sandwiches but I ordered a smash burger because I've never had one and didn't know they existed. I also ordered a Super Sonic Double Cheese Burger which I generally love after I add some salt and pepper. Being or was dark and I couldn't see well, I began to eat what I thought was the Smash sandwich and didn't care much for it. Later, I ate the other sandwich and was completely disappointed! When I checked the wrapping, I realized that the burger I ate in the dark was supposed to be the Supersonic Double Cheeseburger. Both sandwiches were trash and it will be a long time before I return to this location. Another thing that aggravated me was that they did not have any packs of salt amass pepper! What restaurant fail to provide these packs for their customers? The staff tried to explain that their supplier had been out for over a month, but I don't believe her. I visited this location over 4 months ago and they didn't have salt and pepper. If their supplier is out, then the manager should send someone 1.5 miles down the road and purchase some from Sam's Club. It's not rusty hard!

I used to really enjoy that, but lately, it just hasn't been hitting the mark for me. The quality seems to have gone down, or maybe my tastes have just changed. It's a shame, I'll revisit it later.

Went through the drive thru for a drink only. Thought someone was parked in the drive thru line at first because it was 6 minutes before the line moved the first time. Overall it took about 15 minutes to get my drink. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry.

Got in the drive through around 1pm and finally got to the order window about 1:35pm. Stayed at the order window for twenty minutes without no one answering. Finally had to pull up to the pickup window to order the food. The worker said that the drive through wasn't working correctly. We placed the order and watch two of the vehicles behind us get their food before us. Very Very disappointed and it will be hard to get me to ever return. One particular person, could have been a supervisor, was apologetic.

If there was a zero star, I would have given it. I used to love Sonic, no more. I've had my final trip to the Goldsboro Sonic. Other Sonics I've been to are 100% better, even the Smithfield restaurant. The Goldsboro Sonic employees are rude children with no pride in their job. You will have a VERY long wait for them to answer the red button, serve cold crappy food. I am SO upset, because it used to not be that way. And my family and friends are just as upset as I am. Now you have lost another customer. I will have to go out of my way to the Smithfield restaurant where the I know I will get 100% better service. Sorry!

The fact that I have to wait an hour for my food and they aren't even busy is beyond me. The runner Demeria needs a raise ASAP.

I placed an order through the app for a hot fudge sundae at 11:49 today. The app stated my order should have been ready at 11:55. I entered my stall number through the app and my information popped up in which it said my order was being made. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes until I pressed the button. I told the woman who answered that I had a mobile order from my name and I was just curious to when my order was coming. The lady got a snappy attitude towards me and stated “well everyone else out there has to get theres as well”. While that was true and one lady was running around (so I was patient to start with due to the lady obviously being busy) I totally understood but I just don’t feel like putting ice cream in a cup with some hot fudge on top did not take that long. I still waited and waited and waited and I did not receive my cup of ice cream until 1:00pm, only because I was on the phone and someone called for me. Once I received my sundae, it was completely melted to the point I just drank the sundae. This is absolutely crazy!

These people took forever to take my oder. I called to see what was going on, and their excuse was that we haven't pushed the button. In our screen it said that they will be with us shortly. So finally after 30+ min we could put an order in.

Hands down the best sonic we’ve been to. Staff still skating, coming around car to car asking if you need anything, food is great and it looks like they’ve cleaned it up pretty nice too!
