Seafood Friday was great. You definitely get your money's worth wasn't crowded and the sweet tea is some of the best from a restaurant. Definitely will be going back.

Today ,12/10/21, I had lunch at Southern Legends; my first, but not the last visit. I had the flounder and shrimp combination meal; with sides, hush puppies, black eyed peas, butter beans, and lemonade to quench my thirst. Since, this isn't a fast food diner. I sat and enjoyed the cozy, family atmosphere, associated with the small dinning square footage, that meant nothing, once my steamy fresh plate was delivered; I could not believe the amount of food on my plate , I savor each bite; well seasoned , my tongue delighted with joy, yes, I was hungry. Saye Say, my waitress, was courteous, great customer service skills, welcoming, and pleasantly caring, to see if my dinning experience was great. Being on a fixed income, my bill summary, did not surprise me. For this was my monthly treat. I'll be back.

Called to see if the were serving fish stew and I ask the young lady what type of fish they use and the response was are you really asking that question by the way we are out!!! Really yes I’m asking that question cause I want to pay you!!

After all the posts I had seen about this place, I was excited to try them out. The porkchops were very tough. The yams tasted like they were boiled in water with no flavor.The mac and cheese definitely tasted like Kraft, but I could be wrong. Maybe it was an off day. I may try again in the future. The young girl who took my order at the drive thru was very sweet.
Great food and service. Definitely going back.
