Arrrgghhhh! Looks like this place has been discovered and given its full due. I discovered this place during Covid, after the new bypass opened, which made it much more (too?) accessible. Middle of nowhere. At a farm country crossroads. Concrete block building. Earnest, hard-working women behind the counter. And maybe the best tasting pork I've had in a long, long time. Sweet, juicy, porky, woodsy. And crunchy slaw. It was takeout only the last time I went; maybe that has changed. A new routine means I'll have the chance to eat here again, often. My grudging acknowledgement is that the Google Maps raters know what they're talking about here.

Great takeout spot for lunch. Daily hot plate specials. The fried chicken is really good. Been eating there for years. Miss seeing Danny(rip) but the food and service hasn’t changed. Definitely recommended…

Hole in the wall kind of restaurant, if you blink you might miss it. This little place has some very tasty food, super quick, fresh and I personally recommend the shrimp plate! The workers there are very friendly and polite.

Excellent food Excellent price!! Been eating there for years. Worth the drive from anywhere in wayne County. Fridays is flounder and shrimp! Don't hesitate you will not be disappointed

Excellent bacon double cheeseburgers and the onion rings are awesome!

One of the best homemade cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. Great fries and onion rings. My husband went back, had to order another cheeseburger, it was so good to him.

Best BBQ we have ever had. Will be returning as much as possible.

Nice meal with attentive server but food was fairly average. Prime Rib was tender but lacking flavor. Spinach dip was just OK. Lobster bisque did not have the splash of sherry that generally "makes it". Tasted as it it had been scorched.

This was my first time eating there and I got the fat boy and it was amazing, and the service was wonderful.

Some of the best food around. The only bad thing I can even say is they only serve lunch. Friendly staff and good food.

My first visit the food and service was outstanding ?

We had a great experience here Friday night. We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday and everything was just fantastic. Our server (Anne I think) was energetic and attentive. The bartender was on point with our drinks and made an excellent old fashioned! We had dry aged steaks that were prepared perfectly. Really a nice dinner and warm service, will definitely return.
