Our first time here and it was awesome. From being seated to our server to our dinner it was all great. We went for the early dinner from 4-5p and we couldn't ask for anything better. Will definitely be going back

Tylan is probably the best server we have had in Goldsboro NC. I highly recommend visiting Texas Roadhouse and requesting him as your server. I can’t think of a time that someone has been as nice, accommodating and genuinely seemed happy to be where they were. We did have to send our steak back but absolutely enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you Tylan… we will be returning!!!

We got sat pretty quickly, granted it was a Wednesday night.
Our server whos name I wish I got was male and training a newer employee, was really attentive and made sure to ask if we needed anything extra and really made us feel welcome. He sent us home with fresh rolls and even wished us a safe drive home and held the door open for my husband and I as we made our way out of the restaurant. I really hope the managers see this and give him a kudos for chivalry and top tier service.
The food came out pretty quickly and was good tasting and fresh with no complaints from me or my husband.
Overall the experience was great!

Stayed on top of drinks, was quick to assist and I’m pretty sure she read my mind and brought a side of Ranch without me even asking. Best service I’ve had in a while. Thank you Mary!

It was exactly what I've come to expect from Texas Roadhouse, that's why I went there. I had the Roadkill (ground steak smothered in sauteed mushrooms and onions. It was delicious. The steak fries were cooked perfectly and I washed it down with a blue moon. Friendly and super fast service at the bar, an overall excellent experience.

On June 14, 2025 at approx 3:00pm family went to this establishment and got the sorriest service. We ask for rolls, and yes July 16, we are still waiting for them to bring us rolls. When our food finally made it to us we still had no silverware and had to ask again for that. The manager come around and asked how things were going and we told her not good we were still waiting on rolls and horseradish sauce. She told us she would take care of it and never got anything we asked for. I said I would never go back there again because of the sorry service and they weren’t even busy at that time. FAST FOWARD….. JULY 12, 2025 approx 2:00p wife wants to go back so I am hoping it will be better this time. From the very beginning it was like an entirely different restaurant, I don’t remember the waitresses name but she was training another waitress and let me tell you THEY BOTH WERE AWESOME.. This waitress came by my table more before we got our food than the waitress and manager did on June 14/th during the entire visit. I told our waitress what had happened and told her that she had restored my faith in Goldsboro Texas Road House..

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at this location. It was so bad I looked up the health department scores online after we left. Recent inspections found - live roaches (a previous review has a pic of one in their food), flies on prep line, condensation dripping onto uncovered food, food consistently not at the correct temperature, dishes not washed appropriately.
We had to ask for silverware. When it finally came there was no fork, only 2 (dirty) knives wrapped in a napkin covered in crumbs. The rolls were stale and dry. We didn’t even bother asking for the appetizer plates.
A server dropped drinks next to us and left ice to melt all over the floor. I completely understand accidents happen, but leaving a slip and fall hazard in the customer area for over an hour is unacceptable and a liability.
The chicken critter salad came out room temperature with rancid smelling dressing. I’d hate to see what the kitchen looks like at this location. Don’t let the positive reviews the last couple of weeks fool you, read some of the other reviews and you’ll see multiple people confirming this kitchen clearly isn’t following appropriate guidelines for safe food handling.
The restrooms were disgusting with trash cans overflowing, stall doors covered in fingerprints, paper towel dispenser wide open and empty.
A manager never acknowledged or apologized for the issue with the food. Our server was friendly enough.
Oh, and we had to wait forever to pay the check because there wasn’t a battery in the table kiosk. We asked about it and were told the bussers put the kiosks on the wrong table so they stopped putting batteries in them.
Absolutely wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want to risk food poisoning. We ate at the Burlington, NC location last night and 10/10 recommend that location.

Texas Roadhouse in Goldsboro is fantastic! Amber has done a great job getting the restaurant back to what it used to be! The food comes out hot and delicious! Steaks are juicy and the chicken is tender! Great job! Love coming here!
