Vailhouse Oyster Bar & Grille

I had the pleasure of having the owner wait on me when I went in for my birthday. Such wonderful hospitality! He shucked my oysters and chargrilled my steak himself - the food was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. It was not my first time here and definitely will not be my last.

Awesome food, great atmosphere and excellent service. We will be back! Had the ahi tacos and grilled shrimp basket, cajun oyster app. All were wonderful.

We just finished eating at Vailhouse.

My mother ordered the shrimp and scallop combination. She got one whole scallop and two small pieces of scallop for the scallop portion.

I ordered the salad with grilled shrimp. The salad greens were limp, not crispy. The salad was drowning in dressing to the point I could not eat it.

When I pointed this out to the server, I was told she would give a discount. The discount was 10% of my entry only, $1.34.

We are disappointed in Vailhouse and do not plan to return as customers.

Great menu items and super service. The bang bang shrimp are the best item on the menu in my opinion. The menu selections are all good. If you are feeling brave and like HOT stuff you have to try the ghost oyster challenge! Whatever you order it's sure to please.

Good shrimp and Grits and good service!!

I am not a seafood eater but the people with me were. Everybody was very happy with her food.

We enjoyed the Flounder, crab legs and the Lobster roll, very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious definitely worth going back to for more dinners

We got a half pack of steamed oysters and started out strong - they were perfectly cooked and tender. The lobster roll was small, but that was fine since we'd filled up on oysters prior to the main meal ! Our server, Michele, was absolutely delightful.

The highlight was the porch - we sat in the corner under a gorgeous tree and it was an amazing way to appreciate the weather.

Low-key, good food, nice service, awesome for folks looking to spend a nice afternoon with folks they like.

Turned away at 8:18 because their kitchen is closed, should probably have the doors locked and hours displayed not open until 9pm for dine in, take out, and or delivery.

Delicious fried oysters and fried okra!! Always friendly service and great food! 😊

It was slow for a Saturday night , no waiting which was unusual , Although it was NCAA tourney first weekend...food was good ,served quickly ....adult beverages (offered) are worth a taste for their uniqueness. All the Staff was friendly & attentive. Definitely will return ...live entertainment on the outdoor patio some days.

Worst lobster roll I have ever had, picture attached. The waitress was honestly really nice and didn't even seem confused when I told her it was disgusting. It's almost like she already knew what I was gonna say. The atmosphere is mostly regulars but also has a dive bar feel(nothing wrong with that)

My first time there and was pleasantly surprised. Service was good and food was excellent.
