It was our first time and it was our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and personable! We will definitely go back!

Vailhouse is a Goldsboro, NC staple in my opinion. Every time I dine-in, I enjoy the fresh seafood and atmosphere. I would recommend going on a Saturday night to enjoy live local music and steamed oysters.
So disappointed in our lunch today. Service was terrible. Server had big eyelashes and a bigger attitude. Didn't get all the food we ordered, some orders were wrong, and it took FOREVER to fix the bill at the end. The manager did come over and agree we were charged incorrectly, but she did not help the girl fix it. After all that, she swiped the wrong cards on the bills. We just paid and left. This is a good place and they usually do better. If our server was new, she needs better training. And....that lobster roll was ridiculously small for $18!

The food was just so-so. It is what is typically expected of a cantina type establishment,lots of fried items. Portions aren't amazing either. I wasn't inspired to take photos. On the bright side, the staff was amazing! They were attentive and intuitive.

Food was really good! I saw review photos on their scallops and went and tried them myself. The scallops are great sizes and surprisingly perfectly cooked!! Overall, place is amazing with friendly staff and super affordable prices. The only thing was the food took a bit longer to come out. But don't miss out on their Free Cake Fridays!! I'd definitely recommend you to try them out at least once to see for yourself!
