This place is amazing!! Dinner and a show!! Fun for the whole family with delicious made to order hibachi, fresh sushi, great saké, and super friends service!

The cook we had was Josh and we were the only ones at the table and he put on a great show and the food was even better!

Came in with all 4 of my girls from one year to 9 years old… all of them completely entertained and loved talking to our cook- Josh. They fully tested his knowledge and tricks, even made sure he knew how to juggle which has been a big thing for them to want to see lately… when lemons wasn’t enough he showed them the highly requested egg juggle.. which was absolutely perfect. I’ll tell you, We’ve been to hibachi many times at many places and I’ll truly say that this has been my favorite. Also few times when we ask for medium steak is it actually medium… (and like it’s fine- we get it and we eat it w/o issue) but I do want to note that this, the chicken, the scallops, the shrimp.. literally everything was cooked SO perfectly. Thank you so much! *josh even had my picky eater trying the new foods*

Josh did the absolute best job. Good was cooked to perfection. The steak is so tender. Chicken is the perfect amount of juicy. Rice and veggies seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend. So a great date night or birthday outing.

In comparison to other Japanese steakhouses I’ve visited, the food and overall experience was okay but not the greatest. Seating along the hibachi grill was cramped, as I and other diners sat arm to arm. The food was okay but I thought it was not as flavorful or contained as many mixed vegetables as other Japanese steakhouses I’ve visited. Would I visit again? Perhaps.

My wife and I had an AMAZING time at Wafu. We are from Orlando, FL, and would frequent Kobe steakhouse. Wafu did not disappoint! We chose teppanyaki, instead of a booth, where the chef cooks in front of you. Our waiter was very attentive and the whole staff was helping refill drinks. Our sushi was GREAT! Our teppanyaki chef was Josh. IF YOU GO HERE, ASK FOR JOSH! He was so kind and funny! His showmanship was unmatched with his spatula skills and all of the fire shows!!!! THE FIRE SHOWS!! Again, it was a fantastic experience and we will for sure be back.

Josh was a wonderful cook! He even let my son-in-law help light up the onion.
Only negative was the unhealthy vegetable oil used in cooking.

I've never left this place disappointed! If you enjoy high-quality hibachi or a sit down experiance this is one of if not THE place to go. From food service and atmosphere this place is wonderful. Be warned the food here is expensive, but the serving sizes and quality of the meal quickly show why it's the case.

Josh did an amazing dinner show. The best one at Wafu so far. The food was really good as well....actually the best since we have been coming here. I will definitely be asking for Josh when we return.
