Being from New York and finding a good restaurant in the Graham area is a challenge. We use to order from here when the elderly Asian couple owned it and the way they prepared their dishes was just like many did in NY.
Bamboo Grill aren't the original owners and although their food IMO isn't as good as the previous place, it's worth a 4 star review from me. On 10/29/25 we ordered the Hibachi steak and chicken/shrimp with fried rice. We didn't care for the sweet bourbon glaze, but next time we'll just get it without the sauce. The egg rolls are delicious, and IMO come close to the quality and taste you'd find in NY. The portions were fantastic compared to say Niobe around the corner, where you'd get half the amount of food and Niobe isn't cheap/
I do wish they'd offer pork fried rice as an option WITHOUT it being an extra fee. It's actually commonplace for all Chinese food places in NY to offer with your meal for free. In NC it's a different story as many charge extra, so this isn't a complaint but rather a statement.
I did order the egg drop soup and didn't care for it plus it lacked scallions which many other places use in their egg drop soup. Just sayin. I did order a pint of the house lo mein just to try it and it was very tasty.
I will be going back here and after reading the 1 star reviews I think many are nitpicking....IMO. Where else would you go in Graham for Chinese? The place Golden China is so-so and their prices are outrageous.

Didn't like the food rice was bland and tasted like old oil. Wings were all brown on the inside made me not want to eat them also tasted like old oil.

The food quality is always great, comes out hot and very consistent. We order takeout over the phone and our order has always been accurate. The estimated pickup time is usually pretty close to what they tell you. The crab rangoons are the greatest. We've had all the Chinese restaurants in the area, and this place is the best.

The food we DID receive was delicious, however, we didn't receive the side of fried rice I paid for. The hibachi chicken and steak with fried rice was almost $23.00, and to not receive the rice was less than satisfactory. I called to complain and was told they didn't make a mistake. I got in touch with GrubHub that delivered my food and their customer service was more helpful than Bamboo Grill's. I would not recommend this place based simply on the principle that the customer is always right. I paid $23.00 for a meal, I expect to receive all parts of the meal. I will definitely go to Niobe from now on.

Walked in wanting to get a hibachi family meal to go. They didn’t offer it. They had the trays but apparently only for Chinese dishes. Asked if they could work with me on something. Didn’t seem prepared do business. Went down the street to a competitor and they immediately came up with something and took my $65.

We eat here once a month and the food and service is always great. The place is very clean and our foods always done in about 15 minutes. Portions are generous so it’s easy to split a plate. Always get the chefs tofu and extra side of rice and it’s more than enough for 2 people to share for less than $20, you can’t beat it for a quick dinner.

Beef and broccoli, the broccoli was overcooked and the sauce didn't taste good. The fried rice was flavorless and dry. The shrimp eggroll had nice size shrimp in it. However, the cabbage in it was mushy. The chicken wings were just okay. Wouldn't order from here again.
We went to Bamboo Grill for the first time and it was such a great experience! The price of the food is well worth it for the amount of food that you get. We got the hibachi steak and teriyaki chicken, definitely 2 or 3 meals worth. The food was fresh and the soups are a good size! We have found our new favorite spot!!!

Since this location changed ownership from homeowned to chain the portions suck. I got Hibachi first time. They load u up with a lot of rice. Second trip I just got Sweet and Sour. There r plenty of other Chinese in Alamance county. I generally go to the others
