I lived in Hong Kong for 16 years and was pleased to find this little hole-in-the-wall place because it reminded me of the HK street food scene- where the food is good and the ambience next to nothing. I’m sure these folks are all Chinese and I wish they would lean into authentic Chinese food- almost impossible to find in NC. “Hibachi” is a type of small grill and is Japanese. I've been here about 8 times now so I'm over due for a review. This time I got the maple tavern chicken, Szechuan chicken, vegetable chow mein, seaweed salad and shrimp egg rolls. All of the food was amazing!!!! The portions are big enough that my family of 4 will have left overs for tomorrow also from everything. My kids are 15 and 3 and they also enjoyed the food!! I highly recommend!!
