I love Cook Out. It’s North Carolina staple. I had one negative experience at this location but the manager immediately addressed it. But I want to point out one thing to ownership. The speaker system at your drive-through is is horrendous. Often times employees have a hard time hearing the customers order and customers can’t always understand that the person taking the order is saying. The could make the experience for your employees and your customers so much better by upgrading your speaker system.
This was the first time I have ever eaten at a Cook Out. The food was good. The staff just wanted to rush us through without listening to our requests. They got our order wrong and lost our future business.

The food was delicious, but the only thing I can never understand is how come customers are forced with the upsell of a huge drink, when the large comes with the trays at no extra cost. Even when you specifically request the large drink, when you get to the window you are given the huge drink and charged for it.

The service is so dang slow. Two drive thru lanes and still almost 10 minutes before I could even order. Then when I did get to speaker to order between the order taker talking fast and the substandard speaker system I could hardly understand him. Thankful the order was correct however it was the sour pickle topping of an already annoying and aggravating day. They should really redo their drive thru so you have an escape route. The moment I pulled in I realized the line was long and slow but I had no escape route. I was trapped.
