Sunday night is poor timing to go to a restaurant in Burlington or Graham in NC. Not so at El Palmar! They were open, fully staffed, and happy to see customers. I said I wanted take out, but the hostess insisted I sit at a booth while they cooked my dinner. She brought a menu, waited at the check-out counter where she could see me without hovering, and quickly started the order when I'd made up my mind. She asked a couple of questions to ensure she ordered exactly what I wanted.
When I got home, everything was still hot, and so delicious! Their cooks are terrific. Portions are huge, so customers get the next day's lunch or dinner with a single order.
Super nice staff. One of the best Mexican restaurants in a place where there's stiff competition for top ranking.

Parking: El Palmar is on a corner and they have paved parking on four sides of the building.

Kid-friendliness: Genuine pleasure for the staff to have young customers. They're treated well and made to feel welcome.

Food was good but the drinks were terrible. We ordered 3 different drinks and none were good. They took one off the bill and the other two were wasted. I don't believe in alcohol abuse but I couldn't drink those. On top of that our server was never seen when needed..... My 1st and last trip....

Best food, best service. Hidden gem in Graham. Our family adores this place. We've been going for years! Our three year old refers to it as "the nice ladies". Their sweet tea was the only thing I could drink through two pregnancies. I'm loyal to the fajitas but my husband loves to try different things on the menu and is never disappointed.

Hands down, one of the best restaurants you will eat at! From the servers to the kitchen is excellent! I've never had a bad meal or drinks and chips go empty! 10 out of 10! Will always be one of my favorite spots!

Wasn’t very enthused with the salsa. It had a “cleaner” taste to it. Yuck. Really didn’t have much taste. I tasted more of a soapy taste. Tomato based with very little additives. Chips was awesome tho!!!!! Drink has been good yet the bathroom wasn’t so clean. Piss all over the floor and seat. Kinda dirty if you ask me. As far as the burrito, I should’ve got a fajita. The burrito was so packed and the tortilla was so soggy, hell I couldn’t even tell it use to be a burrito. Soooo in all reality, I’m eating a plate full of mess. Very poorly prepared. It looked ok when it come out but in order to wait it, it’s terrible. Blah. I started to just go to Arby’s for a few roast beef sammiches. I really wish I had now. 1/2 way into my meal and it just ain’t no good. Yet it’s gonna cost me $20. Just pitiful.

I came to Hardee’s to get me a frisco meal to compensate for the sorry food there. I’ll NEVER go back. I can make better Spanish food at home. Just dam pitiful.

Great, surprise find on our way through town. It's really challenging to achieve 5 stars for Mexican food that doesn't add regional flavors or dishes.Best thing? They make their own corn tortillas, which were delicious.Absolutely everything was tasty and fresh.
