It’s an older shop. Nostalgia at work. There may be an acquired flavor for coming to a shop like this. No frills. Few seats.

This place use to be awesome. They no longer honor the local coupons they put out. And they don’t clean well. If anyone gets mint favor all the ice cream will taste like it

SAVE YOUR MONEY! After a long wait I was served this freezer burnt ice cream that had a weird taste. To add insult to injury I tried to use a coupon from my Attraction coupon book and was told that it couldn't be accepted b/c they were under new management . That's cool you won't get another dollar from me. Good Luck!

The place is way to warm inside to serve ice cream. The ice cream is icey has definitely melted and frozen again. The cones are super stale tasking.Must be new owners not what it once was.

First time, and it will be our last! After many years of driving by, we decided to give it a try, and the total experience was a mess... Including this place! The fellow at the counter could not understand us, much less did not even know what he had in the cooler. $15 for $8 worth of lacking flavor ice cream. The place is a dirty, and I'm assuming this has not been the norm over the years. I bet it goes bye-bye or to new owners soon.

Just don’t. Don’t.

Wow. This place changed management and it’s really bad.

I asked for a hot fudge sundae. I asked if it was hot fudge or chocolate sauce. I was told hot fudge. It was not.

It was some kind of rubbery, cold and dark substance with cardboard flavored whipped cream. I had to return it. The sundae was NOT worth $9.

The atmosphere is depressing and crowded with boxes. They removed the tables and trash can from outside.

You will have a MUCH better time and product at Whitts.

Finally, I do not blame the teenager that waited on us.

So freezer burnt that it was flaking in our cups and had no flavor. None of us, even our toddler, could finish. Cost $20 for 2 kiddie cups and a small. Save your money or go down the street to Witt’s or the Soda Shop.

Cashier was very nice. Ice cream was meh. There is a bench outside for 2. Don't lean against the fence. Graham has a portable skip/park? in the parking lot with manhole covers for tables. You'll want to avoid touching them if the sun is out to avoid burning yourself. Hire a consultant.

Me, my dad and another guy that works with us while in the work truck to hopefully use the bathroom and get some ice cream. We couldn’t use the restroom because it was blocked off so we just went on and ordered anyway. My dad got a vanilla milkshake that was almost pure milk and not good at all. Not to mention a 16oz shake was $8. I ordered a hot fudge sundae and the so called hot fudge was literally chewy ? he said did I want whipped cream and I said yes so he pulled out a bowl that had liquid something and scooped on it with a spoon ?‍♀️ and charged me $8.49 for that and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. I had to literally throw out all the “fudge” it was so gross but tried to eat the ice cream at least and peanuts so I didn’t waste all my money. Needless to say I will not be going back there again for sure. WTH

i normally don’t leave bad reviews, especially at small town family places, but this was horrible. we recently moved back to Graham & remembered how good Smittys used to be, but tonight.. not good at all. we had freezer burnt ice cream, stale waffle cones & the hot fudge was globs of burnt chocolate. it wasn’t even fit to eat & we both threw ours away. not to mention a small cup & 1 scoop waffle cone was $20. definitely not the same place it used to be.

Our family recently visited the Graham location for ice cream. We were very disappointed in the quantity of the items we ordered, with the price increases. It appears that the gentleman did not know how to make a milkshake. The 2 ordered had more milk than ice cream and appeared more like flavored milk. The 2 kiddie cups had a limited amount of ice cream and overall the portion of ice cream in the milkshakes and cups was quite a bit less than what we have experienced at this location prior to this visit. Needless to say, we will look for another local ice cream shop to support in the future.

Well, it's sad to say but we're completely done with Smitty's in Graham. I don't know what's happened, if it's new management or what, but before this we were already having trouble on them honoring their POSTED business hours, and for kids promised a treat that's a pretty tough disappointment. Luckily Burlington Smitty's honors their posted business hours, so they have saved us a few timss. Last time we pulled up during posted hours and the door was locked and the woman inside made eye contact with my 11 year old daughter, ignored her, and walked into the back, shaking her head. It was extremely rude. But this time we caught them when they were open, and paid $20 for a pitiful size, crunchy, freezer burnt, two scoop cone of vanilla, in a stale cake cone that was inedible, and another pitiful size of two scoops in a waffle cone with three different toppings. You couldn't even see the ice cream over the FRONT of the waffle cone, where it is lowest, and of course the cone with the vanilla was empty. So they over charged us for low quality, pitiful quantity and we are never making that mistake again. Shut them down, they are cheating people, and having the audacity to be rude on top of serving sub par product. No point in them being open at all. Waste of space in our beloved downtown Graham.

I’m a long time Smittys customer and former employee of the original owners. I love to support local businesses, however Smittys has drastically gone down hill. Prices are almost double what they were pre covid, the quality is not what it use to be. You could go there and you knew what to expect from the quality. On my last visit it was icy and freezer burnt. I couldn’t get a pup cup for my dog (she loved them) and there is a lot less ice cream in the cup. I love cake cones but I wasn’t willing to pay for that they have always been free. Smittys was a Burlington institution for as long as I can remember but I won’t be going back and I’ll be shocked if they don’t go out of business soon.
