Restaurant should have posted closed on 7/5. Drove 40 minutes to find it closed. They should realize their patrons live farther than their local community. Recommend calling now that I know you can’t rely on them updating online hours.

Highly recommend. Food was GREAT. Try the Chicken Salad and Hamburger Steak. We live about 2 hours from this Cafe and couldn't leave without taking some chicken salad sandwiches home with us. A must visit if you are in the area.

Service is a disaster. Two of us were never greeted or given a menu or waters, but a 5 person table arriving minutes AFTER us was seated immediately, waters given, and orders taken. No acknowledgement what so ever that we were there, even after asking for menus ourselves. Not sure if this was a racial thing or what, but I do not recommend. 👎🏽

The staff always works hard. Feeds my crew on the regular & has always done some great stuff, sweet tea is amazing!!! But they just gave me a slab for a simple fish sandwich (Friday special) that hit the spot!!!!

My first time there , wasn’t the worse breakfast I’ve ever had but not the best either , best thing I ate was tater tot’s , eggs nasty , ordered soft scrambled they were brown and greasy when they came out , maybe need to wipe the grill down before cooking eggs , country ham was the size of just a piece that you put in a biscuit , grits were dry and biscuits were hard and crumbly , maybe I would go try a burger if I ever traveled back that way , but likely wouldn’t go back for breakfast , atmosphere and tea was good

Amazing food and amazing people I come here once a month and it’s amazing and worth the drive!
My wife and I Stopped here for lunch, I ordered the daily special which was crumble hamburger fried onions on fried bread with a side order of onion rings, the first onion ring was ice cold, the others were fine, both the sandwich and onion rings were full of grease I actually had à puddle of grease on my plate when I finished, My wife ordered the chicken pot pie with a broccoli dish and fries, The chicken pot pie was good, She could not eat the broccoli dish it was like mush, Neither could she eat fries that were under cooked, When we went to check out There were two wemon behind the counter, the dark haired girl ignored us completely and the order blond who was also out waitress was to busy playing on her cell phone, Finally we were acknowledged and able to check out, we both try to support locally owned businesses, But this is one we will not revisit.

Stopped in for lunch, wasn't disappointed in the least! Friend had a Burger and I had the Club. The club isn't the traditional size, smaller, but was filling and delicious. The burger is thick, juicy and very filling..... Clean and great atmosphere! Our waiter was wonderful too!

Stopped at this quaint little place for break on a day drive. 110% recommend this place! The staff was very friendly and service was great. The food was fresh and they had the best tea I have had in forever except for making it at home! Well worth the stop. checked all the boxes for reasons to visit again.
