This place is 100% the bomb.com. the sweet tea is perfect. The barbecue tastes like it's actually smoked and not liquid smoked. They have a few different types of barbecue sauce to put on it which I appreciate because not everybody likes the same type of sauce here in North Carolina they're always busy and I'm still been able to get prompt service. There is a beautiful rockabilly chick with black hair that I always try to sit in her section she's an excellent waitress and has a beautiful smile

My friends, Bill and Mary Austin, introduced City BBQ to my wife, Debbie, and me some years ago. Bill,Mary,and Debbie passed away last year. Today, my son, Andrew, and I ate lunch at this restaurant. The food and service was good. Bill's birthday was this past week and he would have been 82 years old. Andrew and I celebrated his birthday by eating at one of his favorite places. Thank You City BBQ for giving me wonderful memories.

If I could give no stars I would. I placed an order over the phone at 11:31 and was told 15 minutes. I paid for my order at 1148 and finally got my food at 12:10. Nicki said they transition from breakfast to lunch at 11 and that may was the hold up. Mind you people who came in after I did that sat down and ordered had their food well before I got my COLD food. The number of items in the bag was right but they were the wrong items. Nicki who said she was the manager was not concerned about the experience and was just offering excuses. Sad for place that is usually good.

Terrible food and terrible service. We will not be going back. We went in around 7:40pm, we were treated like we were interrupting their conversation. The BBQ was awful and the meatloaf was burnt.

We came by last night from Alexander county. And we got a to go order for my sons. Birthday and I have to say this was our first time getting from here. It was very delicious and got huge plates of food and big burgers that were amazing. We will be back

HUGE portions. I had a pork BBQ an slaw sandwich . soooo tasty . honey mom an pop kinda place. you could really taste the hickory in the smoked flavor.
The time I was there was short and the licenses Agent was very respectful!
