Was ok food, good service. Way to high priced, that is a bit much for biscuit and gravy

We drive 45 minutes to eat here and it’s definitely worth it. The stuffed French toast is the best I’ve ever had. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Hands down the best breakfast around. We will definitely be back every chance we get!

Super cute new diner with delicious breakfast in Granite Falls. If you’re a local, you know we desperately need spots like this, so give City Cafe a try! Waffle with honey drizzle ? sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough was tasty and hashbrowns were just right. We will be back!

Came in today for some breakfast our young waitress came and took our order doing it fast as she can and her Manager kept cussing her out in front of everyone making everyone uncomfortable. The young girl ended up leaving in tears because of how this manager treated her. I will not go back here and don’t recommend going there also.

We came to eat breakfast today and it was the most uncomfortable situation I’ve ever been in. I witnessed this poor little waitress getting cussed out by an adult for not getting our order fast enough. As far as I could see she was running the restaurant by herself and going as fast as possible. The girls mom actually came in and confronted the adult about the situation and she completely denied it. After the mom left the “adult” continued to speak about this young woman to all the customers in the restaurant. We ended up cutting our breakfast short and leaving due to the actions of the adult managing the restaurant. 10/10 don’t recommend eating here unless you like uncomfortable situations caused by childish adults.

Well we went to this place on a whim mainly because they serve breakfast all day and it was close. Pictures of food didn’t look bad so we gave it a shot. First off it’s a very small place. And if you are looking for your typical southern diner and southern diner food this IS NOT IT! I got some sort of breakfast bowl with eggs, sausage, onions, peppers and cheese. The Great Value Slim Frozen sausage patties ( cut up in my bowl ) is not quality food. Coffe was good though. Fiancé got a bowl too with a side yogurt and yogurt. She was pleased but says it’s too bougie. And really if felt that way. Menu is kind of limited in my opinion. But I have to say service was very prompt! But I wish them well on the other hand I will not be returning.Parking: Parking is tight and limited. Plus the 2 huge old gas pump curbs are dangerous in the middle of the lotKid-friendliness: I didn’t see much for kids
Over pretentious diner food is not going to survive in this area. $8 for gravy biscuits is INSANE.....unless your at the Daniel Boone Inn

I used to love love love this place. It was 5 stars but they changed their fries. I’ll turn it back to 5 stars when I get my fries back. Also don’t order anything with lettuce in it. They use the spring mix and when they put it on anything hot it turns wilty and slimy and gross. All their other food is delicious though.

Stopped in for lunch. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent! Learned from the manager that the majority of the food served is locally sourced. How awesome. Will definitely make this a regular stop when in Granite Falls.

The stuffed French toast was absolutely delicious. The chicken and waffles was delicious too. This was one of the better experiences I've had in a while going out to eat in granite/hickory areas. This place was clean friendly and food came out fast and it was right down the street. I will be returning here. What a great little diner.
