The food is definitely prepared differently than it used to be. The beans where cooked to death along with the breast pieces. Way too done. Pork Bbq was good. Corn fritters recipe was definitely different, smaller and sweeter. Slaw was very dry and tasted strange. No more homemade strawberry freezer jam either. Sad to see the food go down but the atmosphere is basically why people come here. Bluegrass and clogging fun.

We visited a few weeks ago, but unfortunately, didn't get to eat. We found out that they are a cash only establishment. We'll have to try again another time.
This is the place you'll tell your grandkids about and take them to for generations. So much fun, the owners and all the staff are amazing, the food is worth coming for, and the entertainment is not to be missed. Bring a whole mess of folks and get down to Sims. Get there early so you can catch all the fun.

This place is the worst example of a bbq chain. This restaurant should be condemned for the amount of uncleanliness I witnessed. The line is ridiculous when you first walk in, especially being right at where you pay. Then after fighting your way through that to get to a seat then you have to fight to get back to the line. The food was the worse part, after getting your styrofoam plate the first thing on the buffet is koleslaw and pickles, then the buns and the meat. The meat was subpar, half a chicken, pulled pork and beef that have no flavor at all. Also, like another reviewer said you have to pay extra for dessert and canned drinks if you don’t want tea. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant, I felt bad I left my grandpas birthday party early because of this place. Will never come back, 0/10 recommend.

The concept of combining dancing and dining was enjoyable. Our host, Cameron, was exceptionally welcoming and had a great sense of humor. The live bluegrass band delivered a remarkable performance.
