Sims is a great place, simple country BBQ. They have beef, pork and chicken, sides are chips, slaw, Johnny cakes, baked beans. Tea comes with the meal and it's all you can eat while enjoying live Bluegrass. After getting your belly's full you can jump on the dance floor for the square dance or line dance. Staff is always friendly, and in the cooler months pull up a rocking chair and sit around the big fire place. Cash only
This is a unique experience that I recommend. There are some things they could do better (the reason for 4-star) but... It was good food and even better bluegrass music. I really enjoyed Barry playing the spoons, IYKYK. Well worth the money and drive to get there. I can't wait to go back to Sims!
Everything is excellent except for the temperature inside! I'm not sure if they have air conditioning but if they do, it definitely isn't working correctly! When we went to eat it was 73 degrees outside and 85 degrees inside!
