Very good people that own it, very respectful owners. Heather tried to do her best, she’s only one person. She put her heart and tears into that restaurant. She made the right decision for her and her son. Heather started that restaurant and the tackle shop, Heather and Todd both put work into those businesses.

Waited too long for only one other customer to be in there. Smoked chicken was to hard to eat. BBQ was dry. Collards not good. Portions are small. Did not get my salad. Limited menu. No fried chicken. They did not have what was shown on menu online. Prices too high.

I'm in here any time I fish in pamlico county. The food is delicious, beer on tap is always fresh and cheap ($2.95!!!) and it's in the same building as the best tackle shop around. All the stars.

Food is delicious, but the service is VERY lacking! Waitresses really need to be trained on proper technique. No one came to check on if the order was correct or to see if we needed anything. After we finished dinner, we had to wait 30 minutes for our check. If we want their food again, we will get it to go. This business has great potential, but if they don't step up on the service I feel they will join the ranks of failed businesses. I've had better service in a slow McDonalds drive through. Plus, we sat down to a dirty table, ate on a dirty table, and no one apologized or cleaned it for us.

We are from out of state, just passing through. Very deceiving from the outside. Looks like a small place but it’s actually quite large. Food was really good. My daughter was obsessed with the Mac & cheese. So much so that she asked for seconds and some to go. The rest of us tried the chopped bbq platter, Turkey club and smokehouse burger. All were delicious. Fries are excellent. The service was great and should we ever pass through the area again we will be sure to make another stop. Thanks for a great experience.

First off we sat close to the line where the food is prepared. Orders were going out wrong and having to go bring them back and start over.Well, would you believe the same thing happened to us. Brought me nasty sweet potato waffle fries instead of the seasoned fries I ordered. The other order had Cole slaw also not so great instead of seasoned fries.I had the BBQ sandwich with slaw. The bun was good. BBQ was like it was oven baked after it was cooked. Kinda crispy and really dry. Slaw was not so great either.The fries by themselves would have been great. Just that cheap fry seasoning is not so great. Taste like a sugar based something.The other order had a cheeseburger and said it was good, so no complaint there.There was a lot of people there eating when we got there, so that could contribute to a little, but constant failures, come on. There has to be some order there. Not playing on the phone or just standing around talking to other people, just to be taking.I'm not normally a rant on here, but this area is getting really slack on their customer service and quality employees.Rant over,Thank you.

Easy to miss it from the street but look close because you don't want to miss it. Great Barbecue and service. In a space where you can bring a good crowd of people. You can have your Barbecue with vinegar or Barbecue Sause. The side were great too.
It's great food . Portions are kinda of small. The banana pudding is hard to get. Always sold out by the time we are able to go. Clean and friendly

This bbq joint has the potential to be something really special, as the food is decent, and the space is large enough they could offer entertainment, but it's like they renovated some parts and forgot the rest? Not that that's stopped me from eating there, but it's kind of off-putting. The brisket is delicious, but the portions have gotten smaller and smaller... Even with sides, it's not nearly enough to fill a person. I'd like to see them finish renovations, raise the price by $2 (if that's what it takes) and stop being so chintzy with the serving sizes.
