“This is a hidden gem. Yoder's makes the BEST FRENCH TOAST AND BUTTER SYRUP!! They offer nice sized portions and make their own sausage and bacon. I was so full but, had to try their cinnamon buns....I fell out they were so delicious. This eatery is a much visit!!”

“Chain restaurants will never compare to Greg's when it comes to Pizza, Subs, Salads, and Spaghetti! Greg's food has a unique taste... fresh, authentic, and one of a kind. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and kind. The atmosphere also has a relaxing vibe.

I will also say my dad was a very picky eater, especially with pizza, but Greg's was his favorite, hands down. And he always had great things to say about the staff here as well.

“I ordered over the phone for pick up. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted with smiles. The warmth of welcoming me generated off the owners of the place. The food was good. Homemade coleslaw, cornbread muffin, and seasoned fries helped make the meal. The cost is very affordable and with the size of the plates you get great value for what you pay. The plate had weight to it, it was not light. I took a few menus to place at work and I hope this place stays in business a long time. I highly recommended it for the hospitality, pricing value, and quantity of food you get.”

We live on the coast of NC where fresh seafood is abundant but Flavor is lacking so guess what we did.
We drove an hour and thirty minutes to Ayden NC
and drove back home not disappointed at all.
We ordered two Flounder and Shrimp with hushpuppies combination plates that comes with 2 sides and sweet tea (sweeet). Our choice of sides fried Okra, green beans, fries and coleslaw. Customer service was pleasant and friendly. Now down to business the crunch on the fish and shrimp was second to none excellent the breading full of flavor. Portions I would consider extra large.”

“Skylight Inn BBQ is the very best in Eastern NC BBQ in my opinion. It is simple and delicious. Wood cooked to perfection whole hog pork . Slaw,cornbread,and of course the banana pudding are a must addition to the BBQ.”
